Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Wow, I have to say I was really impressed with what I saw out of him today. He looks like a future shut down corner in the mold of Revis, Bailey, and Asomaugh.
Was Orton that bad in delivering the ball or is he always this good?
From what it looks like you guys have done a great job assembling a fine young secondary. Something I wish we could do....
...overshadowed only by Champ Bailey's total ownership of Dwayne Bowe.
I disagree, more people noticed Carr's play because he was making plays on the
ball whereas the Chiefs just avoided Champ.
Now, onto Carr.. He is never this good. This was the first game I have ever been
happy that he was the starter (normally I'm just content with him). But you had
to go his way to avoid Flowers who has been under elite CB rules this year.

Still... Bowe had been on fire coming into the game, and many thought that would continue despite Champ. Champ would have none of it.
I was also impressed with Carr. Not happy with it.... but impressed.
Kept thinking... we'll get him...
Nope.

Oh, yeah Champ played better than Carr, I just think more people watching the
game would have noticed Carr.
Yeah, I figured you guys would to but if anyone recorded the game I'd go back
and watch.. I'm willing to bet quite a lot on constantly having safety on his
side because Flowers was one on one all over the place (without Berry) over
the top. It looked, at least to me, Carr was playing unusually close and physical
to Lloyd.

Yeah, that would make sense... he was all over Lloyd, which would seem like a gamble given how he's played this year, unless he had help. Good thought.
Still. When the ball went that way, he was in good position, help or no.

I loved the play of both Carr and Flowers. These guys have become great CBs. Ever since they were starters their rookie years, I've seen that they have potential. I just hope they can stay healthy for the rest of the season.
