    Derrick Thomas was scary in his prime and I used to love seeing him and Elway battle it out. Best of luck to his son, and as much as I hate them, the Chiefs are the perfect team for him.

      May I ask why he's in the HOF & Neil Smith isn't? They have similar stats. Is it in part, because of Thomas' death?

            Don't get me wrong Neil Smith was a great player but he was no Derrick Thomas. One of the best LBs ever IMO. Thomas would have a ring if he played on those Broncos teams.
