Whatever happened to playing Notre Dame or Texas or anyone halfway decent? I think that South Florida deserves to be #1 over Ohio State, but it's still early. Plus, brocophan is right. The rest of their schedule will be more difficult. But even if they run the table, I would take a one loss LSU over the Buckeyes.

Just another reason why I hate Ohio State. I bet my Georgia Bulldogs could go undefeated with that schedule too. I bet Ohio State would lose 3 or 4 games playing in the SEC. Flame away....

LOL.....yea, yea, yea....I know osu has not played a tough schedule.....but after playing Texas the last couple years they deserve a break in their nonconference schedule...........USC is on their nonconference schedule the next couple years.

I don't think the Penn St. offense will be able to do anything against our defense.
As long as our offense takes care of the ball.....no turnovers...the buckeyes will be o.k.

When I turn on sportscenter and see Paterno delivering pizzas to students waiting in line for tickets......instead of reviewing film, or working on some sort of game plan......I feel even better about our chances.

3 games left wisc, illinois, and at meatchicken.....none of those will be easy.....but I can't see any of those teams scoring enough points to beat the buckeyes.

Yes Ohio St lost it match up vs the Sec last year.

As for Big Ten vs Sec

The Big Ten beat the Sec 2-1 in bowl games last year.

If the Buckeyes do go the BCS title game that will be 3 times in 6 years.
That is strong and anyone that dont like it will have to deal with it.

HB, I didn't take anything away from OSU! But the poster I answered to referred that the SEC is owned by OSU and I was simply stating last year is proof that's not true. I hope it's the Buckeyes and the top team from the SEC in the BCSCG so this can be solved.

I hope They Ohio State Buckeyes go the BCSCG as well.But win or lose it would not prove anything.The Big Ten and SEC are both powerhouses which one is better changes like the wind.

The champions of the ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, Pac-10, and SEC conferences are guaranteed automatic BCS bowl appearances.If you win any of these conferences you have a pretty darn good football team on your hands.

But instead of a playoff we are stuck with a crap ranking system.

People dont like Ohio State at the top.

I dont like people telling me Ohio State is not one of the better teams in the country if they lose.
