It may be my homerism talking, but Colt is a great QB. His only weaknesses as said before are his size and schedule. Even then though, he is dead accurate and still a great QB. His passes are always right on the money. Davone Bess last year said that he could run and look straight into the stadium lights over his shoulder, and somehow the ball would still land right in his hands midstride. Accuracy isn't something affected by weak teams.

And the 5 interceptions was because he was injured.

But you don't see him throwing as many interceptions as Timmy Chang (who sucked, Nick Rolovich was better).

High QB rating is insane though.

Simple fact...I've seen his games and he gets more than 3 seconds everytime he's in the shotgun, not gonna happen in the NFL. He'll be nothing better than a backup at the pro level.

wow. colt brennan is so amazing.

4 interceptions against San Jose State. he should get the number one draft pick spot because he's so awesome.

wow. yay for proving how overrated you are colt, just like your crappy predecessor.

He's been having bad games since his appearance on ESPN the Magazine's cover (not gonna blame the ankle). Hopefully the hype isn't getting into his head. The last three games have been very uncharacteristic for him, before this year the most picks he's ever had in a game was 2.

I feel bad for him because anyone who saw last night's game is gonna assume he sucks. Not sure why he was making all those terrible reads.

Its hard to judge. Not many QB's from these systems make noise at the next level. Look at Texas Tech as well. You would hope that he would be putting up high yards and TD's throwing the ball 75 times in a game.

After losing James Jones and Jon Burrsard to the NFL last year I though tthe Spartans would have some problems. Starting to build a little bit of a program there. Saw them beat the Lobos in the New Mexico Bowl last year.

I don't have the video clip but watching ESPNNews, Brennan was leveled by a Fresno St DB. I hope the kid is ok, he's fun to watch when I can stay up!

well looks like the "amazing" hawaii is struggling yet again. i recall saying "good luck with nevada."

but.....hawaii better win or i'll be upset. for all the crap hawaii thinks they have earned to give us, we must take them down.

Colt Brennan is not even having the best year by a QB in The WAC. Check out Taylor Tharp from Boise State

                  Comp Pct Yards TD INT
                  Tharp 69.1 2839 27 8
                  Brennan 69.1 3237 28 12

                  EVEN BRENNAN EVEN THARP

Now bear in mind that BSU rushes for over 200 yards a game compared to Hawaii's 77 so Tharp doesnt have as many opportunities as Brennan. Tharp is more of a game manager then Brennan. All told I am glad the Broncos have Taylor Tharp under center rather then Brennan

They guy worked hard. He played hard. I don't think he'll win the Heisman. But then again, the Heisman seems to be a curse to all that win it. We'll see what he can do at the professional level. My hope is that he exceeds his level of college performance.
