Would be nice to see Auburn knock off Florida tonight too...My 3 favorite teams:
1.The Denver Broncos
2.The Ohio State Buckeyes
3.Any team who plays Michigan

Well I guess I'll just add on. I was going to have a thread asking what you guys think of all this, but this works.
Anyway, with all of these upsets that keep occuring, I mean, there were plenty today alone and with Michigan and a few others in past weeks, what do you think that says about the BCS?
Does this add more fuel to the fire and give more ammo to playoff proponents? Because, maybe all of these upsets are just a show of the many faults in the system. Does it show that maybe these teams really didn't deserve their rankings? Maybe you could say no with just one or two upsets every now and again, they're bound to happen. But with what, 5 today and then yesterday already...that's a bit much for teams that should seemingly whipe the floor with their opponents.
What else does that say about the teams that beat them? Do they get more credit or does the "well, they probably should've have been ranked that high in the first place" line hurt their credibility? I would say that maybe the playing field is a lot more even than the BCS system ever wants to admit.
Could this lead to a more adament call for a playoff system?
It's a pretty interesting topic I'd say. Thoughts?sigpic

The BCS has been a FARCE since it was started, and since the NCAA is such a DICTATORSHIP, and refuses to see it wouldnt be nowhere without the fans, there will be no playoff anytime soon. Not only that, but the Big "11" and PAC 10 have an unfair advantage with no mandatory confrence championships. The NCAA is great, but NOTHING on earth beats March Madness as far as Championships go, and that is including the Super Bowl, IMO anyway.
The best senario is for EVERY BCS powerhouse to have at least 2 losses, and then some smaller undefeated teams from a NON BCS Conf. go to the BCS CHAMP. Imagine it if you will.
GO WASH. HUSKIES!!!!!They should be up by 2 TDS by now!!!

It's interesting because every year for the past few years the talk about a playoff system has been more and more heated and discussed, like fans, players and coaches have had enough, but with the money that the BCS draws in it will be years before all the red tape gets cut away.
And, isn't the Mountain West a non BCS conference? Because I thought BYU has a national championship under their belt? I mean, there are a couple of teams that have won it that aren't in a BCS conference aren't there? You would think that would be a testament as well, but nothing has changed. If anything the BCS has gotten more stingy and stuck up and not willing to associate outside their little cliques.sigpic
