Tebow wins it hands down. He is the heart and soul of that team and the most consistent college football player this year. Playing with a broken hand against FSU and still lighting it up. 29 td's and 22 rushing td's how does he not win it

I don't think Tebow should win it.. I think its the QB for Missouri that deserves it.

            Honestly?

The one guy who won't get votes, and who's team I could not care less about, but who I have never seen take a play off on games aired here, and who is harder to quantify statistically due to position, but is generally double teamed which caused a dip in personal stats:

            Glenn Dorsey.

But as we know, the Heisman isn't REALLY about the best player in college football, it's about the most popular QB/RB/sometimes WR in college football.

Everybody's gotta elevate from the norm...

The greatest list of music I don't own on CD

Being an LSU fan and watching every game this year, he was a force at the beginning of the season until the cheap chop block that wasn't called in the Auburn or Alabama game can't remember. Now the poor man is running at about 60% with back spasms and his knee really hurting. He didn't look good in the ARK game. He said he'll be fired up for the SECCG so we'll see.

:offtopic: But I can't find the thread it was in, but I watched that Lehigh/Lafayette game a couple weekends ago. It was a good game but Lafayette ended up winning the game.

                SWEET that you watched it.

I always try to since it always falls right near my birthday.

Yea, Too bad about the Leopards winning, but you can't win every year.

Just out of curiosity, do any of the McFadden lovers know about Rice for Rutgers? He's run for more yards and TD's than Darren, as have two other players. And Chase Daniels fans, ever hear of Harrell? He's got Daniels beat by about 1300 yards and 13 td's. Tebow is hands down the best all around player IMO. McFadden and Daniels are good, make no mistake, but they are both pretty one dimensional in comparison to Tebow.

Solid argument... But who is #1 and who is destined for the Gator Bowl? You're right though, IF this award were to go to the best overall player (which it should), it would be McFadden or Tebow... But if Mizzou beats OKU tomorrow, Daniels would win it because voters looooove winners..

Rice is a darn good back too, he's going to be a very nice pro... but again, his team isn't winning the big games or even in the big games... same reason why Tebow loses value..
fight u dwn the fied..cu must win.. fight fight fr Victoy..cu knows no defet! so roll up the mighty score, Never Give in!!...shouler to shulder we will FIGHT..FIGHT ... FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!

Well, Daniels laid an egg in the Championship game, so I guess that leaves Tebow and McFadden. Of the two, Tebow has most definitely been the more consistant performer, having thrown and run for a TD every game this season, and put up good stats in their losses. McFadden certainly had a couple of down games, some will chalk it up to injury, but Tebow played hurt too and still performed very well. Guess we'll see how it all shakes out this coming weekend. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Tebow, but not holding my breath. I think he is the best player in college football this season (allbeit I'm a little prejudiced as you might be able to tell my my SN), but don't think the voters will let a sophmore win it.
