Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Michigan will still be #1 in my heart, but the Buffs just intrigue me now. Hawkins is a beast, Scott is going to be one, Jordan Dizon(I know, he graduated, but he's still pretty sweet) is a beast. And yeah, haha.

So fill me in Coloradoians.
Good for you! The Buffs are a program back on the way to the national scene. Hawkins is a great coach and knows how to get things done.
Dont forget that fiesta bowl winning Boise State team was Hawkins doing, and that was with WAC athletes.
Now he has a BCS conference school to work for, and that level of telent to recruit from, as he has already begun doing so with Scott!

Well I can start off with what I think every Buff fan should know....
The CSU CU game IS a rivalry as much as everyone says it isnt. The game is always a slugfest and normally exciting to the finish. No matter the skill on either squad.
We have won one national championship. Yes. One. And it was in 1990 against Notre Dame we won 10-9
We have just one Heisman trophy winner in our history (at least recent? I'm too young to remember back to the olden days) by the name of Rashaan Salaam. Who was THE man.
Darrell Scott looks to be our next Salaam
We have a very young squad. We have a very exciting offense up and coming.
We have a rivalry against NU. And NU fans hate to admit it.
We have put some really good players into the pros.
At first, our uniforms that we have now, I thought were terrible. But I think they are growing on everyone.
Our linebacking corps next year should still be pretty beast.
Thats really all I can think of off the top of my head. This is one video you have to watch.
Some of the greatest players to wear a Buff uniform are in that video.
Chris Brown(22), Bobby Purify(42), Lawrence Vickers (17) laying the smack down on a Lammie, Donald Strickland (Number 4, played DB), Darian Hagan (Guy who recruited Scott), Daniel Graham (89)
HAHA, Vickers laying out Herbert on the goal line is classic. But you have to see Herberts hit on a CU WR (can't remember who) earlier in that game. I will try to find it.

It's true that Boise State won the 2007 Fiesta Bowl with athletes that Hawkins recruited but the actual head coach of the Broncos(and only the second or third coach to go undefeated his first year) Chris Petersen
A Mile High Salute to the greatest Broncos fan of them all.Tim"Barrelman"McKernan, you have given us so many wonderful memories seeing you in the stands of all the Denver Broncos games over the years supporting the team that we all love
LETS WIN ONE SUNDAY FOR THE BARRELMAN! You will be missed

Thanks, and yeah, Salaam was a beast. And I know about the hail mary from Kordell Stewart against Michigan. But yeah that video gave me chills.
With that being said, like I mentioned before, Michigan's my #1, but Colorado will be my 2nd favorite team, since it seems like a lot of people have 2 favorite college teams.
