CU fan here and I do like Wyoming a whole lot better than those sheep in Ft. Collins. CSU will never ever be the state's flagship school.

Still planning on making the trip down I-25 to Boulder in 2009?

                Wyoming's schedule:

                Ohio
                Air Force
                North Dakota State
                @ BYU
                vs BGSU
                @ NM
                vs Utah
                @ TCU
                SDSU
                @ Tennessee (ouch)
                @ UNLV
                CSU

It's hard to get a read on Ohio but the altitude could help the Pokes in this situation. North Dakota State might be FCS but they are dangerous since they beat Minnesota. FCS teams can beat the top FBS teams if the FBS teams are having issues going into the season. Hopefully the altitude will help UW in this case.

Man, you got a difficult schedule. Going to a bowl game would be considered a huge success. That's what Buff fans are thinking about their own team too due to that nasty schedule.

Joe Glenn is a awesome coach. I'm a big fan of his. Good luck this year Cowboys!

I went to WYO back in the early 90's (Paul Roach era) and transferred to UNC (the JOE GLENN era!! ha ha!).

Even though I hate CSU, I always respected Lubick, and never rooted against them when they were in a bowl or played BYU (and us of course). What that administration did to him is so unbelievable, I hope that they lose all of their games for the next few years. So much that they'll have to cut the football program. I'm surprised they haven't renamed the stadium yet.

HOPING TO SEE MORE OF THIS IN 2012

ESPN’s John Clayton reported that McKenzie is expected to review Jackson’s performance for the next week or so. Clayton reports that the odds favor Jackson staying in Oakland, but a decision has not been made. "I still get the feeling Jackson will end up being retained." 3 1/2 HOURS LATER, THE RAIDERS FIRED JACKSON.....GOOD CALL CLAYTON

NDSU is 3-1 against FBS teams since their transition to FCS 5 years ago, with a loss to Minnesota 2 years ago in a game they should have won.

In NDSU's last season in Division 2, they went up to Montana and beat the Griz, while dominating the second half where the altitude was supposed to kick in and affect them but didn't.

Depending on how the QB situation plays out, NDSU could have their best team yet this fall.

Since Coach Bohl took over their program 5 years ago, NDSU is 43-12, and in those 12 losses, NDSU has only lost 1 game by double digit points. In the last 3 seasons, NDSU is 8-1 against the top ranked teams in FCS.

I don't expect NDSU to win, but I do expect them to compete, and considering NDSU is competitive in every single game they have played in since becoming FCS regardless of the competition, I think it's going to be a great game. NDSU will certainly be up for it.

Well, I've got some inside info on the Pokes this year, and it's not good.

I was able to have an in-depth conversation with an un-named inside source who worked closely with the team during the last several months.

When asked how the team was looking for this fall, he had this to say: "They look like a bunch of turds."

Although I personally have some high hopes despite a tough schedule, I think we may be in for a rough season.

We always look like turds. It's the uniform color scheme.
