I waited until the BCS NC game last year, might again. Of course I'm not the only one that can start it.


And Panda, Hansen looks like frickin Bernard Jackson out there. I don't want that again.

I'm drooling for good discussion about our offseason. Or we could just combine the offseason talk into the recruiting thread. I already posted my six main questions for next year over there.

Hansen does not = B.J

I still think he can throw better then Jackson. (See K-State game)

It is really gonna come down to Hawk, Hansen, Evans and Ballenger. Don't be surprised however if McKnight gets a couple reps at QB during the spring either. He looked good out there today

I know he isn't. But he looks like him, I know he's a freshman and all but the dude is too one dimensional to be on the field right now imo.

Str8cket, what are the chances that Evans starts from day one here at CU?

If what I have heard is true, then he has an excellent chance of starting on day one. Whoever starts, I really want one starter from their on out, not QB musical chairs. Although there might be growing pains, starting Evans from day one in 2009 might benefit us come 2010 or 2011 when our offense has matured and Hawkins recruiting classes are Juniors and Seniors.....

You mean other than the fact that he self admittedly telegraphs nearly every pass? There is a big reason they won't let the kid pass the ball.

that may be, but cody telegraphs every pass too, he just doesn't admit it. and he was 100% ineffective the entire fourth quarter, i think he completed one pass which was a great diving catch by josh smith on a terrible throw. they should have put hansen in and either have him run zone read every play or have one pass option and run. he's proven he can do that.

I agree....we should have used Hansen to close out the game. Nebraska had problems defending the zone read earlier in the game (For the couple of plays Hansen had)

Right now, I don't think there's any chance at all. Too many bodies right now that are able to start. Unless of course Hawkins decides to redshirt Hansen and start Evans...which would be pretty damn stupid.
