Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I hate the idea of a Sunday game. People have classes the next morning, work, etc.. I know they want to try and give the emergency personell a break, but, now, you give people all day to drink. Its just not going to end well.
I agree. People (on both sides) act pretty stupid even when its an early start. I hope everyone can behave themselves.

The next day is Labor Day, so no one has classes and most people don't have work. And as for the drinking part, people are going to drink no matter what and now they don't have to wake up at 6 am to do so.

I didnt even realize it was Labor Day.
But, I would rather people drank less (fewer people are willing to be up at 6 to start drinking that just start at 8 or 9 on the bus down), than have to deal with fights during the game. Im there to watch the game, and give some people a hard time, but, I dont feel like getting tear gassed.
dude it is not a big rivalry. The game really doesn't mean much to us since your team is horrible. If we win then no one gives a crap, if we lose then it sucks because CSU fans can't shut the hell up. I understand this is your "superbowl" but we have games against West Virginia, Texas, Missouri, Kansas, and at Florida State this year alone. You are a little bit better than Eastern Washington.

last time i checked, it is a pretty big rivalry. and CU fans dont want to admit it, but they get just as excited for this game as CSU fans do.

This is CSU's super bowl. This is a bigger deal for CSU and your fans, then it is for CU. CU is trying to move next years game back to Folsom. If it was a 'big rivalry' then i don't think they'd let CU move the game back to Folsom every other year.
Its a college football game, its a big rivalry, there are gonna be fights no matter if there is alot of drinking or not.
I understand that. However, people that wouldnt normally fight do because theyre so far gone that they have ZERO inhibition. You cut down on the drinking, you will also cut down on the fighting. There will be those that fight because they would anyways, but, Im hoping to keep that to just those people.
Also, the less time in the parking lot the better. Less time for people to start the shoving outside the stadium.
