never in the bcs running really because your schedule is universally recognized as crap

i mean it's like if the broncos played a bunch of HS teams ...would you really feel good about that? oh hell of course you would........i forgot who i was addressing
    haha. hmm.

well, bsu's been crashing the bcs for at least 5 years now... so i wouldn't call them "not in the running" and we all know what happened to big, bad, tough oklahoma in the fiesta bowl against them. so.... but if you wanna include oklahoma as a special olympics team, i would whole-heartedly agree with you

and let's ask michigan how they feel about playing "high school teams" like appalachian state. ? hmm? that one went over real well. heck, they're not even a div. i team...

but in all honesty. we probably won't make much noise this year. our team is almost 100% true freshmen.

i think there's only one senior on the offensive line right now.

some analysts think fresno will win the wac...but who knows. they've got a good qb. but i think we'll at least win the conference.

but expect more bcs noise in a couple of years after these freshmen get a season or two to start gelling.

i just think it would be cool if somehow they could schedule tougher and make some kind of real run

yeah, i love being a fan of a team that always wins. that's why i'm a bsu fan. they win often.

          inflated win totals.............................i mean.... i'm pretty sure a "W" is a "W" no matter what... if you're a winner, you're a winner.

if by inflated you mean extremely huge winning percentage and record...then i feel sorry for you that you wouldn't want to be a fan of a winning team.

          poor guy.
Surprised BSU hasn't stooped so low to play High School teams.

Oh wait, they still have the Division 2 to go, huh? Good luck against a rebuilding Oregon team and the dreaded Idaho State Bengals.

          My, what a powerhouse schedule.

You know what? If the Big XII ever decides to dump the dead weight in Baylor or Iowa State, I would gladly invite you guys into the Big XII, lets see you go un defeated then.

          Pansies.

yeah i'd love to see that. what angers me is the fact that Fresno and Hawaii and even IDAHO get to play teams like USC...but for some reason, BSU doesn't.

We'd certainly do a much better job against them than those three.

haha. i'll take that invite. i've been saying for years that they should expand the Pac-10 and make it the Pac-12 or something and let BSU and maybe like... Fresno (or someone else) in. There could be the Pac-12 North, and South.

or even the Mountain West could be expanded and divided into two divisions.

            but... oh well.

i'll agree. i'm a little upset about our schedule this season. BUT it's probably a good thing because our team is young and rebuilding. like i said, it's mostly freshmen, so this is a good shedule to get them started.

            who's your team again Str8?

Colorado Buffaloes, I've been spoiled my entire life with having a top 10 schedule year in and year out. We've been down the past couple years, I'll admit. But we're up and coming. Montana State still haunts me

I've heard rumors of the Pac 10 expanding, and there's a bit of interest in the CU camp (although I highly doubt we will make a move any time soon) and a team yet to be determined, that would be interesting.

I have no problem with this list .... Only problem I see is in the title ....

Boise State is a Div 1 school although not consider a power house they have got a good program going and it shows with that outstanding record .... No team can be considered the best over ten years without winning a national title ...

100 + plus teams playing for 1 trophy yeah right .... The Media has its favorites and Sport Writers know all.

1 Major Flaw of Many in the system is the top 25 is already picked out ...

If your team is not in the top 25 you have little or no shot at all....

Conferences like Mountain West,Mid-America,Sun Belt,Western Athletic,Conference USA do not have a chance But yet they wear a DIV 1 title. I dont know maybe this mite be BYU year ....

If your team is from the traditional power house conference B12,B10,SEC etc

And is not ranked in the top 25 they have little or no shot 1 loss all but ruins any title hopes ...

So to wrap this up Boise State is the most winning team in the last 10 years wo a National Title ....

Each and every conference has its powder puff teams ....

SEC,Big 10,B12,ACC that would not be able to run the table on the lesser conf mentioned above.

ah right. well i can give you that. i tend to lean toward CO based teams just because of Denver. lol.

although, i kind of like seeing Hawk fail.

also my dad was telling me that Cody's little brother chose to play for BSU over his dad's team because he wants to play for a team that wins. lol

i thought that was great. man, that's gotta hurt dad huh?

anyway. i think the pac-10 or mountain west would be the most obvious or suitable choices to expand and let BSU and whoever else in. the location is great.

the only problem i think, is that Idaho follows BSU wherever they go. hence the reason they're in a conference that's about 2 levels above them. i think the Idaho School Board or something says that wherever BSU goes, Idaho goes. which really sucks if that's true because we're not going to be able to move to a bigger conference because Idaho would never be able to move up...and they don't belong in the WAC either anyway.

i think both of our teams are kind of in the rebuild stage Str8. so we're both going to have to sit back and wait a couple of years to see them really shine again.
