All I can say after watching the team play tonight? one word....UGLY.

However, for any of you who may have seen the game?? Eric Berry is the real deal. I have never seen a safety hit a back so hard that he did a 360 like a ballerina spinning on her toes. That has to be the best hit I have seen in years during a college football game.

The defense did play well for the first half but there was no way to overcome the offenses ineptitude and inability to stay on the field for more than 3 plays at a time.

Having said that? I just wish we had that kind of Defense on the Broncos team.

I saw that hit. Looked like a bull rider coming off Lil Yellowjacket. Amazing he hung on to the ball. Best hit I've seen college or pro.

Phil Fulmer and his Vols are a joke. Everyone here in Tenn is ready for basketball season.

It was a good hit, but for those saying it was the best hit they ever seen must have not seen a lot of football. Sean Taylor in college made a hit very similar to Berry's hit except even better IMO: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgTm8nAeq7Q (it's right at the beginning of the reel)

I'd still take Berry on the Broncos anyday and twice on Sunday, though. It's a shame he won't be in next year's draft because I would take him over any other college safety.

Wow, as a die hard CSU and Florida fan i don't know what to say. Losing to Wyo is sad....very sad. I hope the vols are better next year. The Tenn-UF game used to be exciting...

Lane Kiffin????

From what the media is saying Lane Kiffin will be UT's new head coach.
The most interesting aspect of this situation is the speculation that he may be pulling his dad (Monte Kiffin) in as his defensive coordinator. I'm just curious why we didn't wait to at least interview Mike Leach since he was showing some interest according to one of his friends? Anyone know any more details on the situation??

Evidently there is more than rumor there. According to local news sources Monte Kiffins contract was part of the deal signed by Lane Kiffin. I can't remember who he was bringing in as his offensive coordinator though.
