Should Charlie Weis Be Fired @ ND?

I don't see how anyone would want to go play for him or that current team. They're horrible. Even with Notre Dame's history and awesomeness in the past, I wouldn't want to play for a team that's going to be a joke as long as Weis is coach...

So I don't understand how that guy is able to recruit quality players... Or is he? What has he recruited that's done that team any good since he's been the HC??

Micheal Floyd future top 10 pick if he plays like he is right now. Broken almost every single rookie WR record for ND and he's had limited playing time because of an injury.

Kyle Rudolph is going to be a first round TE once he's finished here...

Golden Tate lightning bolt in a box.. If Clausen would get his head out of his ass his numbers would be better.

Well that's not to say he doesn't have top talent on his team...

I'm just trying to figure out WHY or HOW he got them there because the program has been kind of declining in recent years and was starting before he got there (which I guess is why they brought him in in the first place).

It's obvious the players have been drinking the Brady Quinn era juice. They expect to have inflated stats. Either that or they have been Notre Dame fans all their lives. (My friend Braxston Cave for example)

I don't know but to be honest I won't be expecting anymore high powered recruits to be coming in anymore because of Charlie being in the watch list now.

true. i understand the lure... but right now i don't see any other reason besides that to want to play, especially for Charlie...because he's obviously not winning.

I'm glad to see Quinn having some success...too bad he's out now.

also i would accept an invitation to play for Notre Dame in a heartbeat... even if they sucked hahahaha.... just because I've always kinda liked ND and I'm Irish.

Golden Tate is the only player I've really seen that's done anything impressive, and I can tell the kid is gonna be one bad ass WR as he matures. Can't wait to see him take it to the next level in the pro's.

Doesn't he remind you of a young Eddie Royal? He literally catches anything thrown at him and is pretty decent at returning even though our blockers suck.
