Well considering we lost 22 seniors going into last season, losing a close one to Washington AWAY (if we'd have played like we normally do we would've beat them... they played like crap. ick) and lost to a very good Hawaii team in the championship game when they were undefeated and we weren't...

I think we did rather well last season. but losing to East Carolina in our own house infuriates me.

I do however recall the Ohio State Buckeyes struggling with that vaunted Ohio Bobcats team.

38-24 loss to LSU in a game you really should not have been in.

41-14 in a game you were heavy favorites.


Keep clinging to a BCS title you won 6 years ago, it won't happen again any time soon, take it to the bank.

And last I checked, CU wasnt a heavy favorite in any game all year. Can't say we never showed up to a game though. We always made sure we could find the stadium, unlike your Buckeyes. Why? Because the team that lost to Mizzou looked like the team all year. Sorry, your attempt at a childish low blow fails.

Ohio State has one of the best defenses, and can control the game with Wells. Pryor could very well be the next Vince Young. I wouldn't be surprised if Ohio State wins. They'll be extra-motivated to atone for their previous BCS disasters and send their seniors out on a high note.

As a Texas fan, I find this surprising.

I would rather have had Boise State or Utah. I'm already pissed because we didnt get a chance to play for our conference, and now you give us a team that were gonna beat 41-14?

The thing is, I think Texas has a better chance to impress if they cream Ohio State--versus Boise or Utah. If they would've beaten one of them, then they'd say it was another pathetic fluke non-BCS team. Of course, I guess they'll say the same about a Big 10 Ohio State team. Instead of this fixed format they should set it up with the best games. Why not Alabama or USC versus Texas? Those would be some good games.

Either way--I still feel like Ohio State gives Texas the best chance to impress and maybe sneak a share of the national title.

I thought originally the BCS Bowl games were for the teams in the Top 10? not for conference champions.

no one can arguably tell me Cincinnati deserves being there more than 12-1 Texas Tech, talk about getting snubbed.

hasn't VaTech lost like 7 of their last bowl games anyways? why do they always seem to be a lock to the damn Orange Bowl. for god's sake, Kansas beat them in the Orange Bowl last year.

VaTech should be in the Gator bowl, or the Idontcareatall Bowl, same with Cincy.

Orange: Virginia Tech Versus Cincy

Utah versus Boise State would have been amazing, how about Texas versus Alabama, it would be Big 12 versus SEC part 2.
