Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Yes, but Michigan was actually decent last year. Didn't you guys get run over by West Virginia last year? The images of Steve Slaton, Pat White, and Noel Devine running over and through your defense still run fresh through my mind. You better pray that doesn't happen again with the speedsters Florida has.
Uh, partially correct. I remember Curtis Lofton knocking Steve Slaton out of the game, very early.
Brandon Spikes is gonna have a sore neck after he watches Sammy Boy throwin all those touchdown passes over their heads.

If Jevan Snead can throw all over that Gator D, what do you think Ol' Sammy boy will do????

Freshman at CB???? Iglesias, Broyles and Manny Johnson are gonna show this Fresh Meat what it is to play a big time game. I expect that kid to learn a lesson or 5 from them.

You'll see man...hes great for being a kid he can make plays
OKLAHOMA wins #8 with this one.i think this game plays out somewhat like OU-t-tech.florida D is better than than t-tech,but they haven't played a offense like OU's.OU knows how to play D against a spread off.we see them every week in the big 12.both teams have great speed.OU needs to get a handle on special teams.kickoff coverage has killed us at times.kickoff non-coverage was the only thing that kept whinny texas in the game.sam is the man this off. will be the differnce in this game.sam to gresham and iggy.plus some passes to manny and ryan.i like OU chances.go SOONERSSSSSS.:salute!:
NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma running back DeMarco Murray will have surgery to repair a hamstring injury and miss the BCS title game against Florida.
Murray will undergo surgery Dec. 22 to repair the tendon in his left leg, Sooners coach Bob Stoops said Tuesday. The championship game is Jan. 8.
"Obviously, we're very disappointed for DeMarco," Stoops said in a statement. "He has been an important part of our success this year and we will miss his contributions."
Murray was Oklahoma's leading rusher before he was injured in the Big 12 title game against Missouri on Dec. 6. The injury was first diagnosed as a bruise, but an MRI exam revealed the damage.
Murray, now the team's second-leading rusher with 1,002 yards, will be replaced by Mossis Madu. Chris Brown leads the Sooners with 1,010 yards.
"With Chris Brown and Mossis Madu, we still have two very fine backs," Stoops said. "Our team has a lot of confidence in their abilities."
Murray also had 395 receiving yards and was second on the team with 18 touchdowns. He will be able to resume training in about five months, said Oklahoma athletic trainer Scott Anderson.
Madu has rushed for 463 yards and six touchdowns as the third-team back. He filled in for Murray during the Big 12 title game and carried 15 times for 114 yards and three touchdowns.
Look, OU is going to be fine. This means we are going to see a lot more of Ryan Broyles now. This could kind of be a blessing in disguise, due to the fact that this may make Murray stay for his junior year now. I would be more worried if we were to lose Gresham or one of our stud linemen. I just really feel we will be fine without Murray. Would love to have him, though.

NORMAN, Okla. -- Oklahoma defensive tackle DeMarcus Granger has undergone back surgery and will not play in the FedEx BCS National Championship Game against Florida.
Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops made the announcement Wednesday, a day after saying starting running back DeMarco Murray will also miss the Jan. 8 game.
Murray is out with a hamstring injury and is also scheduled for surgery.
A backup, Granger played in 11 games during the season and recorded 20 tackles and two fumble recoveries.
Granger did not play in the Big 12 championship game against Missouri because of back problems.
The surgery was performed Monday and OU trainer Scott Anderson says Granger will likely miss spring practice while recovering.
we never want to lose a DT,but granger hasn't been starting since he hurt his foot in the washington game.that was week three.A.Taylor has done a fine job.if we lost Gerald McCoy i'd be worried.i'll tell 'yall wa don't need to lose any more players.
