Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

Em-Dub-See is pretty good. Didn't they go 5-0 against the Pac-10? Impressive stuff.
I'd love to see TCU and Utah in the Big 12. TCU would just add to the ferocious Big 12 South, and Utah would make the Big 12 North....respectable, anyway. The Big 12 North title would probably belong to Utah every year...the current Big 12 North would just battle for 2nd place.
The Mountain West is under a four year evaluation period. They will be going into 2009 will 3 teams in the Top 25.
Its unfortunate that they don't get an automatic bid. One of the many flaws of the BCS system.

They should get an automatic bid. Its really stupid how they don't. They will have 3 teams in the Top 25 going in, with the possibility of having 5 at the end of the year. I believe that the BCS needs to take a long look at the MWC this offseason.
I think Bama missed Smith and were not prepared for this game, I also think Urban Meyer and Whitingham began comparing notes the second this matchup was announced.......
No matter how good Smith is, one player would not have changed the game that much.

I personally believe that the MWC deserves to be a BCS conference. Their top 3 teams are better then anything the Big East can put out there. With this win over Alabama, I think the NCAA should take a long look into what to do with the MWC.
HEHE thats funny. Why doesn't Utah and BYU both just join a BCS confrence? They will NEVER get in the MNC if they don't, and Utah deserves to be in it, just like Boise St. did a couple of years ago.
