I read where Percy Harvin was going to spend Christmas holiday rehabing his ankle for the championship game. Does anyone know how the rehab has progressed? I live about 30 minutes above Auburn, Al. where Dee Finley went to high school. I see that Will Hill is getting a lot of playing time. I wonder how Finley is doing since there was talk around Auburn of his grades would be the only thing that could hurt his chance to play alongside Hill.

According to ESPN Percy says it feels about 90%, but he is definitly going to play on Thursday. Good thing Percy at 90% > 99.9% of NCAA players at 100%

I read Harvin is 100% but can't remember who said that.
Why did it take so long for a sprained ankle to heal? I cannot believe how long Harvin needed to rest and rehab because he did not break it.
I hope Harvin will not be rusty from missing the last game and practices at UF because he needs to have his best game ever against the Sooners.Comment

Yeah on a bum ankle having 5 receptions for 50 yards and 9 rushes for 121 yards and a touchdown. Even after a cheap shot on his bad ankle he still comes in and dominates the game. Apparently your definition of glass is different from mine. Now go ahead and call me dumb and retarded like you do to everybody elsesigpicThanks Blondie79!All aboard the TEBOW TRAIN... since 2006!Team Tebow #15

when have i ever called anyone retarded, besides you? and i wouldn't be calling you retarded if you didn't act retarded btw.
but harvin said at the beginning of the year that it was the first time since he was in high school that he was fully healthy... and then he promptly got injured again... that's pretty much the definition of being made of glass. what do his stats have to do with it?Comment

Percy didn't get "injured again", it was an agrivation of an old injury. He has had ligament problems in the same ankle. He had major surjery on it during the off season, and though it was the offseason, he still didn't have enough time to let it recover to 100% before playing against miami in the second game of the season (missed the hawaii game due to the injury). If you're oppionion of being "made of glass" is having one injury that reoccurs (yet you still play through it when your team needs you), then i guess Terrell Davis and John Elway are made of glass as well.sigpicThanks Blondie79!All aboard the TEBOW TRAIN... since 2006!Team Tebow #15

oh, i got you two mixed up. i thought you were the one who started that thread. i think martz is the only one i ever called retarded on this forum.
anyway i don't care if it's one injury or a different injury every time. if a player keeps missing games every season because of that injury, they are made of glassComment

Cheap shot was unnecessary roughness
Did anyone else think a personal foul should have been called when somebody grabbed his ankle after a play? There is no excuse for that. It was completely unnecessary. The play itself did not hurt the ankle. The grab afterward did. If that happened in the NFL he would have been fined for it because Harvin was unable to get up right away. I guess college players do not get injury reports.Comment
