Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.
--Broncos Country Message Board Staff
bawahahaha, even as a Sooner fan I find this funny. The entire nation says Tebow should return for his senior year, while only the state of Oklahoma says he should enter the draft......
Guess all us Sooner fans aren't too fond of ole Tebow after last night.
What did you expect? Oklahoma fans obviously do not want to see Tim Tebow again after he beat them in the national championship game so they voted for what they want him to do. The rest of the nation, on the other hand, is smart enough to accept the fact he is not ready for the NFL and should get a college degree first. Tebow was asked if he has made a decision yet after the game and he said he does not know yet.
I love what sideline reporter Chris Myers said after the trophy presentation as well as the fact he waited that long to say it: "I respectfully ask just because everyone wants to know" before he asked the question. Other reporters never wait for the appropriate time to ask questions or say something like that when they ask questions.
My vote would be "no" because I believe in going to college for education, not to get ready for the NFL, and finishing what you started.
He should stay at Florida and try to win another one. Plus it will be his last year a QB, he is NOT an NFL QB by any stretch of the imagination. He is athletic enough for the NFL but a transition to another position may or may not work...I myself see him having a very unsuccessful NFL career but one hell of a college player right!
Long story short...these are his Glory years he better soak them up while he can!
Thx,
Joe
To live is to suffer, to survive is to find meaning in the suffering.
As a Gator fan (seriously guys i like them, bet you didn't know that) I think he should come back for his senior season. Not only because I'm a bit selfish and want him to win another championship and possible heisman, but because i think it will allow him to polish his skills. He's obviously an amazing runner and overall player but he needs a little work on the speed of his release. I do think he is an underrated passer by most fans, but it can always be improved. Plus how sweet would it be for him to win 3 nat'l championships and 2 heismans? One more year Timmy T!
Tebow? An NFL QB? Are they even being serious???? He would make a better LINEBACKER then QB in the NFL! And Bradford Might as well come back for another season too for that matter. Here is a trivia question for you guys. Who was the last Hiesman QB that had any success in the NFL, what year , and what team did he play for?
I think Bradford made his case to be the number one overall pick during that Championship game.....
Tebow... has the life in college. Is already a College HOF candidate, and could very well be ocnsidered to be the best college player of all time. Go back to college. Enjoy it... go for another championship and another Heisman... and cement your legacy in the college ranks because he will never be a NFL QB.

Okay good, I'm glad other people can see this... He's NOT an NFL QB and he's not that great of a passer, I'm sorry... he did make some nice throws, but compared to the throws that Bradford made, uggh yeah, not even close..There are only so many "jump" passes you can make in the nfl ... and his running ability isn't going to fly in the NFL, these guys are faster and bigger.. good luck kid..
He definitely should return another year... it would be a great accomplishment if he could win 2 heismans and 3 national championships, thats unheard of! But that's as far as it goes..
fight u dwn the fied..cu must win.. fight fight fr Victoy..cu knows no defet! so roll up the mighty score, Never Give in!!...shouler to shulder we will FIGHT..FIGHT ... FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!!

Man I'd love a Broncos jersey with 51 and TEBOW on the back!
He'll probably play an H-back/TE hybrid, maybe some wildcat every once in a while. There have been plenty of college QBs that change position and do well in the NFL. Randell-el, Brad Smith, Hines Ward, Michael Robinson.
Would it be too much to ask for Tebow to do neither?
Just checkin.......
So you have a chance to pick up a kid with rediculous athletic ability, an amazing attitude off the field with no problems, an emotional leader that can fire up his teammates, been said to spend more time training, lifting, studying game field than any player in the NCAA and is willing to play any position asked of him...yet you wouldn't want him on your team?
I realize all of your posts on this thread, and the other about him have been short with no explanation of your feelings, so i'm not exactly sure what you have against him. I guess you either just have a personal dislike for the kid (understandable, but surprising for how good of a kid he is), don't like the team he plays on (perfectly fine, but who he played for in college really shouldn't change affect you wanting him on your team in the pros), or just want to play the devils advocate (who doesn't like to do that sometimes?). Just looking for some insight into your reasoning...

No! I wouldn't.
Don't get your feelings hurt, I simply cannot wait til Tebow and his ridiculous hype (Your threads and passionate speeches about him included) just go the hell away. He's just not that good, he's not even the best college player THIS year.
"The best college football player I've ever seen" --Gary Danielson
Apparently Danielson has never seen likes of Bo Jackson, Barry Sanders, Hershell Walker, Hugh Green, Lee Roy Selmon or Archie Griffin play.......
