he would have to over-simplify his offense, i am not a big fan of the west coast offense in college, its too complicated for kids to learn in that short period of time.
i thought it was a good idea until my team hired Callahan lol
not saying shanny is Callahan, far from it. but its a similar offense.

Mike's got not interest in the college ranks.
How bout Darrien Hagan?!!
If anything, the dude has ties to the school and was a monster recruiter for both CU and UCLA. He also has the little nitch that he coaches the best RB in the NFL today.sigpic

I'd be more upset with Mike Bohn for giving the bum an extension though, ouch.....sigpic

Good to see Lockridge getting some time though, and Stewart being himself.sigpic
I think Ben Tate will be the best back taken in the 2010 draft. (5/3/10)

i disagree about "a win is a win". at the nfl level it is, but at the college level there is such a huge difference between the top teams and the bottom teams, that a win over a bottom team doesn't really mean anything by itself. we're still the same crappy team that got blown out by csu and toledo. still starting the same crappy qb and the same crappy wide receivers while our talented scholarship receivers waste away on the bench.

I am not saying it would happen, but I thought about it today and I don't see a reason why it couldn't. Shanny has flirted with college jobs before, or at least has been mentioned(florida numerous times). He loves Colorado and in fact still resides here. The people of Colorado love him, by a huge margin I would guess.
He could recruit like crazy I think, and his running game would be awesome in college IMHO.
I honestly think it would be a perfect fit. Shanny is getting a little older and college, it is fairly well known, doesn't command the same kind of hours that the Pros do. And, if Shanny could turn that program around they would make Holidays in celebration of his awesomeness, erect statues, hell they might just rename the state in his honor.
Not likely to happen, but I thought it was an interesting idea.
