Is there any news to Chris Rainey's shoulder after he left the Georgia game with arm heavily iced and in a sling? The announcer that is the shoulder that needs a brace during games and had to have surgery before last season. Also Mike Gilleslie "if I got the name right" had a big run at the end of the game and it looked like he lost grip on a cut and possibly pulled his right hamstring. If Rainey is gone for a while, that would put a big load on Demps and more action more Moody. This may finally force Meyer to really give Moody the bulk of the carries unless he wants to risk Demps getting beat up and losing the big explosive runs.

I still haven't heard about Rainey, hopefully more info will come out this afternoon. He had surgery on that shoulder his redshirt year, so it may be a pretty significant injury. Gilleslee pulled a Hamstring so probably out for a few weeks. That's not as big of a blow, it's only the second game he has gotten any carries this season (if i remember correctly). Hopefully Moody gets a few more carries, he's been an absolute workhorse for us when he has gotten opportunities. I'd be willing to bet that Urban starts to use Brandon James a little more in the running game to take Rainey's place if he's out for an extended amount of time.

Just saw on ESPN that Spikes gouged the eyes of one of Georgia's running backs. He should probably be suspended for that. He was probably getting back at the Bulldogs for ripping his helmet off and pulling his hair, but that's no excuse to do that. COME ON BRANDON! We'll see if the punishment comes from the SEC or is left to the Gators.

I formation with some play action

I'd personally like to see some Moody or Demps in the I or pistol shotgun as it's become popular with some middle runs or sweeps. When the linebackers and safeties rush up to stop the run Hernandez on a fly straight down the hash marks and see if that helps the passing game. If the other team blitzes on that play fake at least there will be a running back heading towards the blitzer and could at least slow him down before getting close to Tebow.
