Any bets on who will win a Super Bowl first???
With the Heisman curse, Ingram won't win the NCG!!! DISAPPOINTING!!!

Yeah, but even in a year where defensive player puts up GODLY numbers he wasn't even considered.

        Toby shouldve won it.

I dont see how you can have two guys that play the same position, and give it to the guy with the worse stats.

That doesnt make sense to me. The Heisman isnt about whos team plays for the NC or is ranked higher. Although it appears thats what its turning in to.

if that was the case suh would have won, suh was the best college football player in the county, period.

the Heisman is very much only about winning and offensive numbers, but i am not complaining.....it is what it is.

Because aside from one bad game against Auburn where he was hurt. And even then still put up numbers that weren't bad. Ingram took apart some of the best defenses in the Nation. Mississippi, LSU, Virgina Tech, Tenn, South Carolina, Florida. Numerous times Ingram carried the team when Mcleroy and co struggled. He had several game winning/ clock killing drives that had him carrying the ball time after time.
Gerhart would have been a deserving winner but I think you need to look beyond the numbers and actually watch the games side by side, and the opponents they faced, to see why Ingram won.
"On a given day, a given circumstance, you think you have a limit. And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit, and you think, 'Okay, this is the limit'. And so you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further. With your mind power, your determination, your instinct, and the experience as well, you can fly very high."

Good point! I was hoping Gerhart won as well and thought he was deserving of the award.Alabama played against greater talent than Stanford, thats why Ingram won.I hope we could draft either back cause they both are for real.

Haha, yeah I know about the Lou Groza award. I was only joking about the Heisman in a way to show how under appreciated the old "K" is. I can't even imagine what types of things a kicker would have to do to even be invited to the Heisman awards.
