Depends on how the rest of the PAC-12 performs.

So far 1-2 with Utah barely holding on against 6-6 Indiana.

If every other team loses then it's quite possible we just succeeded in an inferior league.

Not sure. They did lose to the better teams in the conference (USC, Washington) so it could be that the other teams are just not that good right now??

Buffs extend Mcyntire through 2021

Great start to the year for the Buffs. Defensively anyway.

Granted CsU probably deserved to be in a tie down to the wire because we definitely were favored some sketchy flags that kept points off the board. But that aside to hold them to 3 points after the 58 dropped on Oregon st last year was awesome.

Offense looked good early but then after the Rams adjusted Montez looked rather lost out there for a second year qb. Hopefully the cupcake next week gets some of the rust out before conference play.

I don't expect 10 wins again this year but hopefully another bowl game will help continue to boost recruiting.

That game really confused me. I don't understand how our offense looked so much worse than last year, when we returned almost everyone. Our offensive line couldn't get any push or protect the qb and they are supposed to be 1 year better.... Hopefully it was because our team just went into the game overconfident and didn't prepare properly and this last game was their wakeup call. Which I think it very well could have been.

I was happy with the defense, I expected them to have a more significant drop off than they did. But you can still tell that they DID have a pretty big drop off. We got bailed out by a lot of questionable flags on CSU big plays/touchdowns. Also bailed out by some pretty stupid playcalling by CSU's offensive coordinator once they started moving the ball into scoring range

Not going to complain about a 37-3 win but the offense doesn't look that great under Montez so far this year.

I could only listen to the game. Yes, the first half was not going well offensively, the OL doesn't sound like they have it together. Montez seems inconsistent thus far.
Defense has been great though. They seem to have not lost a beat from last season. They have not given up a TD yet in 2 games and CSU has a decent offense, again I couldn't see that game - ZZ Top show was more important Texas St's offense?

D got away with what probably should've been two tds. First play of the game was a 61 yard run but the rb tried to cut outside instead of back across the field. He ran himself into the tackle. If he had cut across the field no one catches him. And then they missed the fg.

Second half same thing. Wr burns the corner for a big pass play but the qb led him too far causing him to stumble after the catch. So if he leads him right it's a walk in td. D played fantastic but those two plays could've made the score a lot closer.

Montez just puzzles me. He looks the part much more than liefeau and has a better arm. But he just continues to have break downs in intelligence and has plays where you think it's his first game freshmen year in front of 90k opposing fans.

Not stuff you expect to see in year two against the cupcakes.
Anyway they should be 3-0 next week before any big competition starts.

Agreed about Montez being puzzling.... He looks like he has regressed significantly since last season. I'm thinking Lindgren isn't the "qb guru" that he has the reputation for. I remember Sefo Liufau looking like a potential stud as a true freshman and he did nothing but get worse, every year. Now it seems to be happening to Montez.... what's the common denominator?

Also not happy with how the team keeps brushing off the offense's problems "you can't expect to score 100 every game".... we just played possibly the worst team in d1, the team SHOULD be somewhat concerned that our offense could only get a single touchdown against them in the first half, and that Bryce Bobo had to make a SportsCenter top play on third down in order to make that touchdown possible
