This is pretty funny. How about this guy as your schools mascot?
Oxford, Mississippi - Nearly 75% of the Ole Miss student body support a measure allowing their input into the school's new mascot - and apparently Admiral Ackbar is the people's choice.
Ackbar, the alien from the Star Wars movie "Return of the Jedi," is getting a groundswell of support, including a student web page, a Facebook page, and even a Twitter page, dedicated to making him the new face of Ole Miss.
The school's previous mascot, Colonel Reb - a cartoonish, white plantation owner - was removed from the sideline at athletic events about seven years ago to distance the school from racial stereotypes.
The decision on the new mascot will ultimately be in the hands of a student mascot committee.
