I could not agree with you more, being a Husker fan there seems to me a LACK of understanding, and a SHORT MEMORY, by the Longhorn, and Texass contingent, that when the Big 12 was formed, in 1995, the SWC was Bankrupt, and they came to US!!! But as doing so, we made the mistake of adopting their old rules as far as admission standards, partial qualifier practices for scholarships, let them move the Conf. HQ from KC to Dallas, let them hire a admitted Texass HOMER as President, and adventually, let Texas call the shots on just about EVER matter concerning the Confrence as a whole! Osborne called them out FOURTEEN YEARS AGO!!! THIS is NOTHING NEW!!! So,,,,, good riddance Big Tex and the little 11, hello Big 10!!!

Nothing would make me more happier then to SHUT OUT Texas in the rematch at Lincoln, keep them out of the CCG, and play OU, one more time, for all the Marbles, just like the Old Days!!!

I agree. The biggest thing I'm going to miss leaving this conference is the tradition we have with OU, and to a lesser extent, CU. I can't stand Texas and their big shot attitute. My cousin's wife is a UT grad and she swears Texas is the be-all, end-all of schools. Oh, and every player that comes from there should be Canton bound. We've already gotten in arguments about how McCoy is already one of the top QBs in the league.....

but back to the topic, I would really love to see NU and OU go at it one last time, especially since they're not scheduled to play this year

i think your cousin's wife is right.all the texans that go to oklahoma could be canton bound. no school in history has given texas kids as many championships as oklahoma has.

Nebraska is the team offense forgot, and OU didn't improve all that much Gilbert is better than Jones, not to mention Texas has the a top 5 secondary in the country. Nebraska's defence is better but Texas is not far behind, but Texas's offense is way better. Face it Texas will win once again.

yes,yes,yes.i'm glad this is happening.these two teams have made what is now the big12.it's good to see our teams better than what they used to be while the big 12 has exsisted.when this confrence started we had john blake and things at OU were bleak.Stoops has changed it back to when the king Barry Switzer was at the helm.for you guys at NU you gotta love callahan gone and Bo being in charge.most the time i'll admit i am busy taking shots at texas.it seems like they are favored over all other teams.this saturday OU vs NU in texas,is that ironic or what.another good thing i see in2020 and 2021 these teams are looking to play each other.good luck nebraska in the big 10.i usually call you guys bug eaters,nebbish or aksarben.not this time.alot lately i've been thinking about the past games.games that come quickly to mind are 1971 i hated the very end of that game.the games from '76 until now.i hated those two games in the late '90s scoring 69 and 71 on us.one thing for certain,the whole big8 and the nation would get around the tv on the friday or saturday after thanksgiving and watch our teams play.huskers thanks for being a great rivial.Boomer Sooner to you.

Don't have to worry about Texass and the 9 dwarfs for too many more years I bet! They will jump ship in a couple of years to the SEC if the chance arises!
