Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

buffaloes will be 4-8. our dumbass administration will give hawkins a 10 year extension, citing this year's improvement over last year as evidence that he knows what he's doing

why do you say that? yes its pretty optimistic to say we will win the big 12 title but i think the wins will be there.
i was right on with my prediction last year and the year before, BTW.

see? someone agrees with me....except for the final score of the championship game.

I think you've got every reason to be optomistic. Texas was lucky to win the Big 12 championship last year and NU is a top ten team this year (not ranked has high as my Broncos of course ) Honestly, OU was the best team in the Big 12 last year. Texas got outplayed for most of the Red River game. They were fortunate Bradford couldn't play.
I'm curious to see if some playmakers can emerge on the offensive side of the ball and I'm curious to see how dominant the D is without Suh. That was one of the 3 or 4 best D's in the country last year, and if the offense could have been productive they would have been special to watch. They were more painful to watch than Ravens before Flacco.

Thank you to my grandfather jetrazor for being a veteran of the armed forces!

Sorry to say...don't think that will happen for ya. OU lost some key players that made the team that good just like Texas did so both teams will have to have young guys step up to that level. QB wise I didn't see much of the OU backup so I can't really say anything but during the National Championship game the backup for Texas came out and surprised me for a freshman in a full game that was that big.

i just don't see nebraska winning 11 games this year or the big 12 title. i wasn't really impressed with them last year. they only beat one good team (who had their heisman candidate qb injured) and looked really bad in some of their games (tech, iowa state). you lost some great defensive players (suh) and i'm not going to believe that nebraska is capable of putting up more than 50 offensive yards per game until i actually see it happen.
i think you guys will be around 9-3 again. and my bonus prediction is that bo pelini will have a stroke from raging at a referee for making the correct call at the end of a game like in last year's big 12 championship

what a joke.
the stadium clock read 0.00 for god sakes. you would be speaking a very different tune had that been your team, playing Texas, in Texas.
uh. no i wouldn't. even the commentators who are supposed to be unbiased said after the play "i'm pretty sure there was a second left on the clock" even before texas challenged the play. it was pretty clear
