  • Gabbert Better be ready!

Mizzery got them all kinds of confidence after last Saturday nights beatdown of the Sooners. Nebraska is a tight team at home. That Tiger defense is looking pretty good too.

BUT! One thing is for certain, Nebraska will bring more heat on him then they have on any QB all year. Crick is due for a domination, something he really hasnt had all season.

Should be a good game, and a crazy atmosphere, one last time for one of the Huskers most hated Rivals!

If I remember correctly, and I could be completely wrong, Gabbert was playing
solid against Neb last year before he got hurt by Suh. I'm sure the pressure he
saw last year with Suh was better than what will be brought Sat.

We'll see, should be a great game. MU has always had problems with running QBs.

how good is your running game? you guys are going to have to have a good day running the football to have success on offense in my opinion.

that said, our offense especially has looked like crap at home all year and MU obviously has a great defense.

i am more nervous about this game than i have been any game all year, i hope i am wrong but unless the huskers learn how to play well at home all of a sudden, they will lose saturday.

They were winning 12-0, then Suh COMPLETELY took over. He at one point , sacked, stripped, and injured Gabbert all in one play. That forced him to throw erraticaly for the rest of the game, the rest was history.

The reason I believe Crick has been schemed a lot so far this year, and I think Mizzou will try the running into the middle first, which has been Nebraskas weakness on the defense so far. If Nebraska shuts that down, then it is lights out, they will be throwing against the best secondary in the country. Now while OSU had success in the first half, they do not have anyone like Bowman on this squad. That man will be a top 5 pick next year, if he can stay outta trouble. I heard this morning he was busted in Dallas driving 92MPH in a 60 zone, hes like 19 or 20, was at the Monday night game as a guest of Dez Bryant, and possibly had been drinking!!

Anyway, like I said, Crick is LONG overdue. And the offense at home is overdue. Hopefully the nerves, or whatever it has been, has been worked out, and they can start balancing out the Offense by both running AND passing. They have proved they can do both, but it seems like not in the same game!

Besides, they OWE them one, just like they did OSU!! And like they SHOULD have Texass!

They ran pretty good last week against a decent OU defense, and our run defense is a weakness so far.

My nervousness was LAST week against OSU. I think they will be ready, they know this is for all the North Marbles.

do you even hate Nebraska being a Texas fan? i know if i were a Texas fan i couldn't care less about them.

if the big 12 would have been formed just a decade sooner, you would really hate Nebraska i think.

but being your whipping boy doesn't really warrant hatred i would think, but that is just me i guess.

My Dad is a OU alum. My hatred for Nebraska was forged long before I ever became a Longhorns fan.

ahh that makes sense then, god i miss that rivalry.....another reason i hate the big 12, it killed the OU/NU rivalry.

good game man, our secondary did well but helu was a man among boys today.

ive seen the highlights, not to steal helu's thunder but our OL absolutely manhandled them in those big runs.

i credit the OL as much as helu for that performance, at least judging by the highlights and the 4th quarter (which i actually got to see)

even at the end, we just kept running it down their throats and there was nothing they could do.

man i wish our OL played that well every game.
