Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Oh and I was blown away by Reese. He made all the throws that kept the drive alive unlike Crist. We could definitely be seeing the new "IT" ND quarterback in South Bend.
USC isn't ranked... and you forgot Oregon State...oh and Nevada is ranked.
If Hawaii can finish out the season strong, they can be ranked as well. Truthfully, Boise's schedule is also tougher than TCU's, they just got the benefit of having a "top 5 team" to play and blow out.
It's probably just because before they beat Oregon last year in the Rose Bowl they had lost 3 Bowl Games in a row, and two happened to be National Championsips.
Not taking anything away from my squad, they are legit every year, lately I just keep getting my heart ripped out in big games when going into it I fully expected to win.
2002 Fiesta Miami (Fla.) (2 OT) 31-24 W
2003 Fiesta Kansas State 35-28 W
2004 Alamo Oklahoma State 33-7 W
2005 Fiesta Notre Dame 34-20 W
2006 BCS C'ship Game Florida 14-41 L
2007 BCS C'ship Game LSU 24-38 L
2008 Fiesta Texas 21-24 L
2009 Rose Oregon 26-17 W
C'mon now. They got embarrassed by FLA. I've been hearing about it ever since, but I don't see where they were embarrassed in any of those other games.

Ohio State is in the top 10 every year, make a bowl game, and then get embarrassed in it.

I'm not sold on any team in the top five as being clear cut right now. You want my honest opinion, I think all of those teams can beat each other. I would like to see Boise play LSU and Oregon play TCU. I really think that Oregon is a little better than most people think though. I have a feeling that Auburn will end up losing, and Oregon will get TCU in the NC. I would be ok w/that match up. If I had to pick one team right now, it'd be Oregon.
I think a TCU/Oregon matchup would be sweet. Id like to see if TCU has the defense to slow down the Ducks. Sadly with LSU beating Bama, I can see them jumping TCU if Bama downs Auburn. LSU would have to lose a game for TCU or BSU to have a shot.
