while i only care about football... and am quite certain that was/is the motive behind all the conference realignments (despite what ADs and Conf. Presidents may tell you), i do know that football is our only strong suit. We do have a pretty good women's basketball team, stellar wrestling program and tennis for both men and women... but no one cares about those sports.
we have a new basketball coach and some great incoming recruits. i think our basketball program is ready to take the next step and start building a solid program.sigpic

But i admit, i mentioned in the sports betting thread that if i was a betting man i'd take hawaii against spread...
good thing i didn't bet on them

just thought i'd share this from our first game this season...
He just barely tapped the QB (collaros) because he thought he threw the ball on the pump... turns out he sacked him, Joe turns to see if the pass was completed only to see his team ecstatic... he turns and sees he sacked the qb LOL....
i was at the game and thought that was the funniest thing i've ever seen
