Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

Boise State needs to develop a Basketball program. The MWC is a great basketball confrence. Possibly the 3rd best confrence behind Big East and ACC. Nevada brings some to the table, Fresno does a bit. Boise needs to step it up.
We also bring our great softball and baseball clubs...
Our womens basketball is also very dominant.
our mens bball had some good players (even one was drafted pretty early this past draft) but our teams have never been very good
while i only care about football... and am quite certain that was/is the motive behind all the conference realignments (despite what ADs and Conf. Presidents may tell you), i do know that football is our only strong suit. We do have a pretty good women's basketball team, stellar wrestling program and tennis for both men and women... but no one cares about those sports.
we have a new basketball coach and some great incoming recruits. i think our basketball program is ready to take the next step and start building a solid program.

just thought i'd share this from our first game this season...
He just barely tapped the QB (collaros) because he thought he threw the ball on the pump... turns out he sacked him, Joe turns to see if the pass was completed only to see his team ecstatic... he turns and sees he sacked the qb LOL....
i was at the game and thought that was the funniest thing i've ever seen
