So... its that special time of year where boise state gets blown OUTTA the water by the lowly bulldogs of fresno.


Say bye bye to your NC dreams, and hello to mediocrity....

Fresno state has yet to play 4 quarters of hard fought football for various inconsistant reasons, but if we play 100% all 4 quarters I think with this talented team we are capable of beating half of the ranked teams in the country... no homer! (see what i did there??)

Will our 100% be enough to take down goliath??? no... we need an act of tebow to pull something like that off...


But it will happen, oh yes.... we'll put your little peewee iceman on the grill and burn his ass for 4 INT's, 3 Force Fumbles, and 40 Defensive touch downs... yeah, 40 td's with 7 turnovers... idk how but it'll happen!...


especially against that awesome OLine...

i think your smack accidentally turned into praise for my team lol. that's okay though.

what poetic justice would it be for Fresno to come INTO Boise, who is ranked in the Top 10 (5) and blow their dreams to finish the team's time in WAC. the way Boise went INTO Fresno and embarrassed then #8 Fresno State to begin their time in the WAC.

won't happen though, because Fresno has never won on the Blue Turf. At least not while playing BSU (i don't recall if they played a Humanitarian Bowl or not in that time).

even last year in Fresno with Ryan Matthews running all over the place, we found a way to win (actually, two, in Harper and Avery who negated all of Matthews' TD runs).

as for the Iceman. Dude has 4 interceptions total on the season and 7 in two years. .... in the words of Mr. Fox to Reese in The Dark Knight: "good luck...." lol

we have proven o'er and o'er again this season that we can shut down powerful run games. We downed Tyrod Taylor and his RB, we contained the Rodgers' brothers from Oregon State, we made Moniz (mobile QB) a non-factor in the Hawaii game by sacking him 7 times.

the only chance you guys will have at keeping it close lies on the shoulders of your running back. if he can find a way through our stout D-Line, passed Winterswyk, Tevis and Venable secondly then he could get a chance to break one open. but our defense swarms like piranhas on fresh meat.

i CAN'T WAIT until Friday. lol this rivalry has become so much more awesome and fun than the "rivalry" against dUI.

i do believe the cold weather will be a factor as well. it always seems to have hindered Fresno in the past. Same with Hawaii.

Boise wins by 20+ guarntee. These types of games are a walk in the park for Boise. It only makes it easier now that Mathews is gone, and Boise pretty much has their same team from last season. Billy Wynn was on a rampage when we played Fresno last season, I expect the same on friday.

edit: on a side note....

Boise state had about half a section when they came to fresno. (sounded like 2 though)
Hawaii had 1 and a half, but sounded like 6
nevada had almost 3!!!!!!!!! (but sounded like .5)


just to compare for you guys

i guess it depends on how well the game is goin for the visiting team.. we deflated nevada so that may be the reason why... hawaii killed us and boise state got us good.

that's why i added the tidbit about the HB. because i knew they'd come and played but not against us.

nevertheless Fresno @ Boise always plays poorly. regardless of how their season has gone previously.
