Fresno State @ Boise State Thread

I want to see boise state miss out on the national title game by like 1 computer point. and then utterly destroy their bowl opponent like 60-0. the screeching and whining from boise state fans about how they should have been the national champions would reach a fever pitch and it would be really amusing because there would be nothing they could do about it

i don't think there's anyone on here that is more jealous of Boise State than you and it shows, though you'll deny it. you're just like all the other BCS team fans that are upset that Boise State is doing much better than your team or other teams in your "big boy" conferences.

besides we've already made that argument twice now. we said that last year when we beat TCU in the Fiesta Bowl and two years earlier when we beat Oklahoma.

would we have WON those national championships? hard to say... but NO ONE (not even you Panda) can say for certain we WOULDN'T have won.

did we deserve to be playing in them? you bet your ass we did. and if we win out this season there's no reason we don't deserve it. i still feel Oregon is wrongly ahead of us but that's all by the wayside.

if either Oregon or Auburn or both lose then Boise State being left out of the NC game would be a crime. you know it, you just don't want to admit it.

but you are right. we will probably destroy our BCS Bowl opponent but we'll have to wait and see who we play.

at this point it's win win for Boise State. there's no reason we don't jump ahead of TCU after beating Nevada (if we don't already this week) and after that we're a shoe in for another BCS Bowl. so it's either the National Championship or a Bowl game and that's pretty dang good in my opinion.

as to your little scenario: i will be irate if that happens. i'll be stoked that we win another BCS Bowl game (which would only further the argument we should've been in the NC to me and just about everyone in the country). and yes i will be saying we should've played in the NC, especially if we go in and blow out say Alabama or anyone really...

I would like to see Boise win the title this season,they get cheated every season, not being able to play in the big one.I hope they get their chance to prove it after 3 seasons.Go Broncos

I would want to see Boise Vs. LSU for the NC. I think when it's all said and done, TCU won't finish at #4. If they don't dismantle New Mexico that is. They better win that game by more than 5.
