VT is a pretty good team, and they've went on to prove their lost against James Madison was a fluke.
Only thing I didn't like about the VT win is the part of the season they scheduled the game all though I cant argue Ohio St does the same thing and that the results are not always favorable ... Texas,USC,Miami,Cal,Oklahoma

Stomped? You guys only won that game by 9 points.... Boise beat them by more than OSU did. On top of that, Boise held them to only 152 yards. A team that was previously one of the top scoring teams in the nation.

How many yards did OSU hold them to?

We controlled that whole game, it could have been a lot worse, and Oregon had come a long way as a team by the time they reached us in the Rose Bowl. How many points did Boise beat them by in that 1st game of the season last year??

Lets not forget that was TP2's coming out party. Since that game he has really grown into a very good college quarter back.

They beat them by 5 in 2008, which wasn't even expected, seeing as Boise wasn't even ranked. Also to add another point to Boise's victory over Oregon last season, they actually could've won that game 25-9, but DJ Harper's long run TD got called back. They ended up winning by 11 though. Not by much, but more than OSU.

But if they are the team that everybody says they are then that shouldn't mean a thing that they weren't ranked. They beat Oregon by 5 in the first game of the season. Oregon during last season became an ultimate threat in College football which was building on what they have going on now this year, and Ohio State handled them with ease in the Rose Bowl.

I am not saying that Boise isn't capable of beating Ohio State, I am saying however based on the post from before that Boise State isn't about to come into the horseshoe and have their way with the Buckeyes, that flat out just isn't going to happen.

Wait were you talking about 2008 or 2009, I just edited my other post, talking about those. I got lost after you said "last year" as we were on the topic of the 2009 season, so I thought you ment 2008.

Again we don't know that though. It could happen. It's as plausible as OSU coming on to the Blue Turf and blowing Boise out 35-10. Both scenarios seem unlikely, but they're possible.

snuck by? we beat them 19-8 last season. also we handled them the entire game. their supposed feared running game was shut down (much like all of the "feared" running games we've handled this season). Blount had a terrible game and could barely get yardage.

the only reason it wasn't 33-8 was because we had fumbled snap issues, we were in the red zone at least twice and came away with no points because our center muffed the snap. also like Amari said, Harper's TD was called back.

there was never a situation or moment in the game where Oregon had control last year.

the year before when we went to Autzen, we even played really well against them and they didn't make it a close game until the 4th quarter. and that was Moore as a true freshman, along with freshman making up the majority of the team.

just to clear up the difference between last year and the year before.

This all started by a statement that was made that said that BSU would whip OSU's butt in the Horseshoe by 28 points, I find that hilarious. Again, not taking anything away from Boise but it appears that many here ARE taking away from what the Ohio State Buckeys program is and has been as a dominate force in college football year in and out.

I don't believe BSU could even beat OSU in the Horseshoe untill I see it with my own eyes.

It is not only one of the toughest places to play in all of college football but Ohio State can play with any team in college football, their track record speaks for itself.

                        Except at Camp Randall

I'm just kidding, I gotta be a huge Ohio State fan this week anyways. Unless Penn State feels like taking care of Michigan State.

Anways I would like to see Ohio State play BSU just because of these comments. If not Ohio State than I wouldn't mind seeing them matched up with the Badgers.

Enjoy the victory this year, you guys dominated that game.

I know that you know that we get our fair share of you guys.

Like I said in another post, it's as possible as OSU beating Boise by 28 on the blue turf. We just don't know, all we can do is speculate, and go off based on what we know already. That being, both places are tough as hell to get a W in, which means it's basically a toss up, until one of the teams actually goes there and does it.

Didn't Boise St sign a deal to play a Big Ten for a future schedule a couple of weeks ago ? I thought it was Michigan ?
