so i guess i am eating half my words atm. cam and the tigers showed usc a thing or two. and i soooo wanted spurrier to take the team to their first sec championship.

and why does newton have to have skills? the guy is such a scumbag. and yet his character will always be brushed under the rug because he can play a good game and bring money and attention into organizations. like they say in hollywood, even bad press is good press.

Please read and follow your own rules when handling the Cam Newton situation, i know your worried that without Newton , Auburn might lose and this would more then likely propel TCU into the Title game and completly ruin the 2010 college football season and make a mockery of your BCS system and thus bringing more demand for a Playoff system.....but rules are rules arent they? here is the rule in order to refresh your memories...

SEC bylaw 14.01.3.2

If at any time before or after matriculation in a member institution a student-athlete or any member of his/her family receives or agrees to receive, directly or indirectly, any aid or assistance beyond or in addition to that permitted by the Bylaws of this Conference (except such aid or assistance as such student-athlete may receive from those persons on whom the student is naturally or legally dependent for support), such student- athlete shall be ineligible for competition in any intercollegiate sport within the Conference for the remainder of his/her college career.

According to the rules, Cam Newton should not be on the field for the SEC Championship....right?

The thing is nothing was received or an agreement was never made. By law for an agreement it takes at least 2 sides to form an agreement. That never happened.
