Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

We started, at one point, to chant "T SHIRT T SHIRT T SHIRT"
why? they shoot out tshirts during our games constantly... and we chanted so they can come to our section... i was yelling "HOW BOUT WE WATCH THE GAME"
lol...
also, i tried to knock the t shirts down with my D FENCE sign but i couldn't since we were so close...
also, during halftime... i tried to start the chant " BLOCK THAT KICK... BLOCK THAT KICK..."
yeah...
nobody bought into it
do you guys have that chant? or is it just us because we are too awesome at that..
Hate to break it to you, but most student sections do mostly all the same things for all the chants/rituals/traditions/etc

i think everyone chants: "BLOCK THAT KICK" lol. i yell it all the time every time there is a punt or fg attempt. then i yell: "RUN IT BACK!" if they don't block it. if we are on defense i constantly yell: "TURNOVER!" today, Darrell Acrey listened to me because he got a pick six with the first play of the game.
it actually happens a lot, even if i'm at home and i yell at the tv... i feel like i personally will said player to do what i want. i.e. our first meeting against Oregon, i was doing that and i'd say: "Moore, throw a TD right here" bam.. touchdown. lol
anyway. yeah our cheerleaders throw stuff into the crowd too, t shirts, footballs etc. random stuff. that same idiot kid got all butt-hurt because they didn't throw him one... him and his buddy were flipping the cheerleaders off. i was amazed at his immaturity level. i wanted to knock him out. he spent most of the game complaining about things rather than actually watching the game.

Just wouldn't be a fun game without brotzman missing a fg
shankski
jk, he's good just a rough patch...
yeah going to games are fun in the student section, especially with a bunch of tards around you that don't understand the game... "GO FOR IT"... while i'm yelling "PUNT IT"........ and then "GO FOR IT" while i'm yelling "KNEEL IT AND GO TO HALFTIME"...
one game everyone was yelling go for it before half (30 seconds left)... and it was against nevada now that i remember... everyones chanting go for it... i'm saying "KNEEL IT PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"... fumble... they get a fg....
hahaha. yeah. sad thing is (less sad than missing out on the Rose Bowl) if he'd made that fg today he'd be tied (i think) for the NCAA All-Time Leading Scorer, instead of just the WAC. now, if he'd made that one last week+today's P.A.T.s then he'd have the record AND we'd be in the Rose Bowl.
darnx2
also i know what you mean about people yelling stuff. i mean sometimes we are like: "Go For It!" but we are Boise State and we normally do that... but most of the time we will scream things that make sense or that would NOT be costly lol.
today we actually agreed that we wanted to see Moore punt it in person lol. and we got to see that. not that we ever want a punt but... and it wasn't as good as his last two. but oh well, he had a rushing TD and 3 passing TDs and no ints so. all good.

speaking of going to games. before today the last time i was at a Bronco game was 2005 when i was a student.
sad thing is, i got so busy trying to graduate in the fall of '06 and with work i missed all the games, and that was the season we beat Oklahoma
but my buddy's dad randomly decided to get us tickets for today. it was fun being back in the student section. brought back a lot of memories, and all were good ones.
FREEZING cold today though, but that's all part of the gig. i was stoked to finally get to see Moore, Young, Pettis, Martin, McClellin, Venable, Winterswyk and everyone else in action in person finally. and today was senior day so it was pretty sweet.
i'm glad the MAJORITY of Bronco Nation understands football is a team sport because the stadium erupted in cheering when Brotzman came out onto the field during the Senior Announcements. we did have one fool in front of us (probably a freshman just out of high school) who was badmouthing him and the girls next to us were arguing with him lol. he was a little punk.
anyway. enjoy those games 12and4. awesome, awesome times are had at football games for sure. especially when you go to the school, you feel like part of them.
No all four sections are students only and I'm always in the same spot with all the regulars. 4 rows back holding up my d fence... Sometimes my off fence..... And I start a crap load of chants, its fun... Also, RB has me on facebook so you aren't the only one who knows!!
by general admission, I mean is it first come serve for who gets which seats?
