  • So.. out of the 4 Heisman finalist

In order from 1-4, who do you think will have the better NFL career, based on what you've seen?

    1.Andrew Luck
Luck has everything going for him, physically, and mentally. Smart guy, has great size for an NFL QB, good decision making, Leadership, great accuarcy, and has a pretty good long ball. I think he's defintley the best prospect in years. There isn't to much to say that hasn't already been said. Luck has everything you'd want in your QB.

    2.Kellen Moore
While he's a little small at about 6'0" 190, all you have to do is look at Drew Brees, and you have your answer. If Moore can bulk up to about 200, I think he'll be fine physically. I think whoever gets Moore, will be getting a steal. Now obviously he's overlooked because of the conference he plays in, but I just think he has the accuaracy, the mobility, and the good decision making to be a succesful NFL QB.

    3.LaMichael James
People said the same thing about MJD that they're saying about James when he was coming out in college. I don't think his size will be an issue, he's hard nosed, fast, and likes contact. I think he'll be a decent RB in the NFL, proably not an elite back but we'll see.

    4.Cam Newton
I think he'll be a development QB on the next level. Not saying he wont make a good NFL QB, he defintley has the size. It's just usually run first QBs have a harder transition from college to Pro. He's a guy you might want to have an eye on, he may turn out great.

I think Cam Newton is going to be dominant at the next level. I have seen enough of the others to tell.

I agree cam will b a beast! I like kellen but a lot of scouts say he has a weak arm. And lemicheal is a lot smaller than MJD look at drews legs he's a load and much more powerful.not to say james won't b successful he could b a good change of pace back Not a luck fan

apparently a lot of scouts don't actually watch Kellen play. when he does miss his targets, it's usually because he's OVER thrown them...not under. he has a great arm.

and even if he did have a weak arm, that arm is accurate enough to make up for distance.

LOL. how so? the only thing non-pro caliber about him is his weight (like Amari said, look at Brees for how height doesn't/shouldn't play a factor)

if you watched the Heisman Presentation show you saw how brilliant his football mind is. kid has been reading playbooks and defenses for FUN since he was little. he reads defenses before his coaches can catch them. he's calm and cool under pressure and always delivers only where his receiver can get it, and if he can't...no one else will.

as for your "he's got an awesome O-Line making him look good" argument. the last few games he didn't. he did more scrambling in the last 3 games than he has the whole season... he's mobile ENOUGH to get free. i think Fresno's defense proved that well enough

if those qualities don't make a qb NFL ready, i don't know what does. i've been a homer about past BSU QBs before and it's clear they didn't pan out... but i knew they weren't really good enough to probably start for even a crappy team... but Kellen Moore will surprise a lot of people if given the chance.

I thought the concern regarding Kellen was his arm strength???

RB, am I wrong about that? I thought I heard some analysts commenting about that, but could be wrong.

If they were complaining about that, Kellen has defintley proved them wrong this season.

height is definitely an issue, more so than weight. its hard to see over your huge linemen to read the defense as well as the issue with passes getting batted down when you are that short.

brees is one of the few QB's his size that can pull it off. not saying moore cant but it is indeed a factor.

luck has the best chance to succeed in my opinion.
