Just my opinion, but the red and black looks nicer than the all blue. Still has to cost the scholl a boat load of money to paint these fields.

Most unusual playing field in all of football (EW's that is). Boise State's smurf turf is very intersting. The players blend in with the field when the wear their all blue unis.

QTF... kind of? more like.. absolutely. the AD and president of Eastern Washington even come right out and say their "Inferno" (yes Al you are correct) is inspired by Boise State's blue field.

they said they changed it to their school colors because it made sense and it worked for Boise State, and they hope the same peak of interest will be pointed their way as a result.

no joke. WE are why they have a red field. imitation is the best form of flattery.
