They get paid already. Do you know how badly I want a free ride to Clemson? These guys get 80-100 thousand dollars worth of education in the finest universities in America for free. Getting money on top of that would be ridiculous.

If you wanted to pay just the football players, that would be illegal under Title IX. If your gonna pay players, you would have to pay the men and women equally, and it wouldn't matter if their sport generates revenue or not.
