Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

My prediction for the rest of the season:
vs San Jose State: W
vs Boise State: L
@UTEP: W
@UNLV: W
vs San Diego State: L
@TCU: L
vs Air Force: L
vs Wyoming: W
So if we win our Bowl game we have a shot at an eight win season.
I also think we could sneak up on a team like SDSU, and anything could happen the last two weeks of the season in the rivalry games.
It is absolutely terrible. What upsets me was at the end of the first half when we were driving the ball well and then, surprise surprise, he calls a reverse which loses about 10 yards and takes us out of field goal range. CSU games are so hard to watch with his playcalling.

I agree with your predictions. And your right, the SDSU game could go our way, but we have to play lights out. SDSU has Lindley who is a good QB and Ronnie Hillman is a stud RB. Hope to win that one though! Here's to making a bowl game this year
Just got back from the game, wow just wow. Fairchild plays not to lose, which cost us the game in the 4th. Thomas did pretty well today, but he tends to float some of his deep balls.
Apparently hired a recruiting firm to assist in the hiring process. But right now my money is on Gary Barnett to be the guy.msounds like right now he is pushing for the job hard.
Colorado State has hired Alabama offensive coordinator Jim McElwain as its new head coach, sources close to the situation told ESPN.com on Monday.
McElwain will continue coaching the No. 2 Crimson Tide's offense through their Jan. 9 contest against No. 1 LSU in the Allstate BCS National Championship in the Mercedes-Benz Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans .
McElwain is expected to receive a five-year contract worth about $1.5 million per season from Colorado State, sources told ESPN.com. A second source in the Southeastern Conference corroborated McElwain's move.
McElwain, a native of Montana, helped the Crimson Tide win a BCS national championship in 2010. Alabama led the SEC and ranked No. 15 nationally in rushing this season (219.8 yards per game) and were No. 16 nationally in scoring (36 points).
McElwain, who also interviewed for head-coaching vacancies at Fresno State and Memphis, replaces former Colorado State coach Steve Fairchild, who went 16-33 in four seasons.
