Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

It says Boise State vs CSU. Either way you guys are gettin' spanked! I'm just havin a little fun man. I'm not gonna be obnoxious about it. I'm actually really excited about some of these new rivalries starting that are all within 10 hours of Boise. The WAC only had 3 schools that were a day's drive away, and only one of them was worth the drive, and the was Reno. Utah State (which I think is now on an upswing) and Idaho have been traditionally awful for about a decade.
Now AF, CSU, Reno, UNLV and Wyoming can all make for good local games for their fan bases that should help with attendance. It's too bad the Utah schools are out of the picture.
I think for atleast a couple of years Boise will have good attendance too for some of the lower tier teams like UNLV just because we've never seen them before.
The Air Force Academy will actually be a huge game here in Boise because Mountain Home Air Force base is only 45 minutes from Boise and is the second largest air force base in the US, next to San Diego.
Wyoming usually has a few thousand people that make the trip. How well does CSU's fans travel?
He is not meant for college football. Reverse on 3rd and 9 really? His play calling is stupid, but then again if we had a QB or a receiver. Thomas should have never been a 4 star recruit. Past 5 yards he can't make the throw, and we don't have any receivers to do the job. Defense was shredded by Stewart, but overall did a solid job. Our offense is horrid though, shut down 5 yard pass plays and you shut us down. I'm not happy with this game, it was winnable but piss poor offensive execution killed us. Weird sounds like what I said Monday night.
October 15th will be a sobering day, but if any of you wish to travel to Boise let me know.
I can't put anybody up because I've got 4 kids, but I can give advice on places to stay, and possibly meet up with you for a meal before the game and show you around a little bit.
Well that game today was a rough one. Thought we were taking control of the game, than all of a sudden that blocked punt touching allowed CU to score again, than after that we just looked beat.

Pumped for Saturday. I read on the PAC 12 blog that both of CUs OTs could be out Saturday. That doesn't help CU cause DE is our strength on defense. Hansen better be ready we are coming for them.
This might be CUs only chance for a W this year. First time ever I think this game means more to CU than it does to CSU. CU has no rivalry now outside of CSU. If CU loses they have a legit shot at being 0-13.
Nicely put, we won the game and started off on the right foot this season. Wasn't pretty, but it was a win and that's what we needed right away on the road. Pete Thomas looked pretty poised and a good game against UNC this weekend should give us confidence going into the CU game.
