Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Just got done watching the game (dvr) and man capi is for real. Pete Thomas looked good as well but I don't think I like fairchilds play selection. Way to many short screen passes that go no where on 3rd and long.
Capi is only a sophomore which is awesome, because he was an absolute TERROR.
Dude set an NCAA mark with 4 forced fumbles. He recovered one of them, sealed the game with another, as well as had 3.5 sacks. Plus, when he was interviewed afterwards, he didn't take any of the praise.
But yes, Fairchild was driving me CRAZY. I understand the short passes due to the 4-2-5 defense UNM was running, but man, it wasn't working, we needed to try the deep ball. Also, we kept trying to force the run, when it wasn't working much either.
I did agree with him going for it on 4th and short to try to seal the game. Not going to lie. I didn't however like the actual play.
Nicely put, we won the game and started off on the right foot this season. Wasn't pretty, but it was a win and that's what we needed right away on the road. Pete Thomas looked pretty poised and a good game against UNC this weekend should give us confidence going into the CU game.
