If anything, there might be 5 conferences with the Big East joining the named 4.

Big East will just grab teams nobody wants to not fall to the SEC,Pac,ACC, and Big Ten in the race to grab teams.
I think if the Big East survives they wont amount to anything because you will have them and the Mountain West as like the two inbetween confrences. But the thing I want to see the most is the Big 10 give the finger to Notre Dame and let them stay independent.

    (2014-2018) Bradley Roby

I wouldn't mind seeing Boise move to the PAC after expanding their stadium, and then the remains of the MWC just combine with the Big East or ACC.

But the problem with that is the travel between the Big east teams and MWC is just so much. But I think the PAC has pretty much have Texas Texas Tech Oklahoma and Oklahoma St locked up so Boise is SOL unless they work there way into the Pac and the Pac kicks some one out.

I'm sure a lot of people will wont that to happen.
But if ND wants to be in the Big Ten then they will be.
IMO, that's not good for them.

They'd lose pretty much every game.
They can't beat Michigan,Ohio St., Nebraska, Wisconsin, Iowa, Penn St. and is split with Michigan St.

That's 6 to maybe 7 loses a season. Not good for them.

I know its just that the Big 10 has tried to get Notre Dame and they haven't joined so I would laugh if Notre Dame got left out. It won't happen but I would laugh. It just sucks because my Iowa State Cyclones might be one of the teams to not make it into one of the four super conferences

Boise in the Pac 12 makes a lot more sense than Washington State. Kick WSU, they are no longer relevant to that conference. Another way I can see it working out is Boise stays in the MWC, and the MWC brings over teams like UCLA and Washington. I don't think the geography is that big of a deal as it was years ago. Nowadays, teams are willing to travel a few extra miles.

Its Okay Iowa State showed up this year and took it in Triple over Time. (doesn't matter we tried hard to give Iowa the game they didn't want it) lol.

And how would we lose our QB's name is Steele Janz he truely gots nerves of steele. 3-0 with a combined victory of 9 points lol. Just ignore the fact Steele started 0-4 with 3 INT last game.

I didn't read every post so I don't know if this was covered. I blame Colorado and Nebraska for all of this. That began the fall of the Big 12. After that, other conferences seemed to be looking at what teams they can get from the falling of the Big 12. I also blame the Big 12 in general for not being about to stay together. If they could have gotten a couple teams to replace the ones that left then it wouldn't matter.

The biggest impact of Pitt and Syracuse leaving will be in basketball. Not only are they leaving probably the toughest conference in basketball, their move will probably make the ACC the toughest conference again.

I like the moves, it's a good way to give the finger to the NCAA.
Nothing wrong with teams moving, the Big 12 just happened to be the ones on the wrong end of it.

its the same situation Boise st is in but you guys are in a better TV market so that could help your cause.

expand your stadium to hold at least 50k or so people and you might have a decent shot. (assuming you have the fan base to fill it)
i think you may be underestimating us a bit... our stadium holds 44k (slightly less).

thats not the issue at all.

it's the marketability. If we want a shot at making it in, we need to change our name to California State. We are the premier "California State" school and should be the ones to basically represent them. Just as UC Berkeley call themselves California... representing all the UC's.

i think that'd be attractive enough to get us in.

All of it can be traced back to Texas's plan of a television network centered around nothing but you guessed it Texas. They were essentially showing games of other teams for all the profit. Everything was teams being upset by the revenue split.
What's the difference between ignorance and apathy?
                            I don't know and I don't care

Yea the longhorn network was the fall of the big 12 because Texas cared about Texas and not the big 12 so I was surprised that the PAC was going to let them keep it

The Longhorn Network pissed off the Aggies. Nebraska and Colorado were good as gone over a year ago. The Big 12 nearly fell apart when they had left, there were talks of Texas leaving back then, but once they and Oklahoma agreed to stay everybody decided to stick around.

The Longhorn Network may have been a nail in the coffin, but this started a long time ago.
