Nebraska vs Wisconsin

pretty huge game to open the conference schedule, this may be the prequel to the conference championship game.

It will be hard to beat Wisconsin at home but Nebraska has been good on the road under their new head coach and i think they have a chance to pull off the upset.

is my non homer prediction though. Nebraska has been too weak on defense, nowhere near as good as i thought they would be so far.

the secondary is young and inexperienced (although we got Alphonso Denard back) and teams can run the ball straight at us due to our under sized speedy LB'ers.

our only hope is if Wisconsin tries to throw too much and our DL can dominate the los as well as our offense being able to score a lot of points and control the clock.

either way, this game is going to be fun to watch.

I think with the addition of Russel Wilson, Wisconsin will be too much offensively for Nebraska. Ball and White in the backfield, Toon and Abbrederis in the passing game will just give Nebraska fits.

I can see Wisconsin running away with this one. Russell Wilson is one of the most underrated players in the NCAA, and Martinez has shown he's still a very below average passer.

If I were putting money on it, I'd bet Wisconsin pretty comfortably.

I know as a Husker fan I want to see the Huskers pull off the upset but in the 2 games I've seen them play,the defense will not hold up. Martinez is not a very good passing QB,seems he underthrows alot so if it turns into a shootout which I think it will,we will definitely come up on the short end of the stick.

I think Wis takes this game. They just seem to be more together as a team and more consistant. Neb on the other hand has firepower to keep up but I see them falling short

I really don't know who will in ... I think Nebraska is every bit capable enough to beat Wisconsin ... I think this game is as big of a regular season game as Bret Bielema and Wisconsin has ever had

no, that is my legit prediction. before the season began i thought Nebraska's defense would be a lot better than it has been so far and even then i figured it would be hard for them to win this game.

Nebraska will be damn lucky to hold Wisconsin under 30 or 35 points in this game. if Nebraska's offense goes off and can sustain long punishing drives like they did against Wyoming, then they have a chance.

problem is, this isn't Wyoming.

i am not giving up all hope, i do think we have a chance but just not a very good chance.
