Rams vs Broncos, gameday thread

I don't honestly expect this game to be close. The Rams give up a lot of points, and Boise scores a lot.

It's unfortunate that so many teams in the MWC are down right now because there was so much potential for competitiveness in this conference when Boise joined.

However, I am looking forward to seeing the environment in Ft Collins. I've never watched a Rams game on TV before.

Not that it will likely matter all that much, but Boise State will be without one of their starters along the defensive line for their game against Colorado State this evening.

According to the Idaho Statesman, starting defensive tackle Chase Baker (No. 97) did not travel with the Broncos to Fort Collins and will not play against the Rams due to injury. Baker is suffering from an unspecified leg injury and head coach Chris Petersen is expected to update the senior’s status after the win game.

Junior Mike Atkinson is listed behind Baker on the Broncos’ latest depth chart.

Baker has started four of BSU’s five games this season.

I was wondering why Baker wasn't playing. He's been their starting NT for 3 years now. I hope it's not too serious.

I expected Boise to win this game, but not in such a lopsided fashion. Doug Martin had about 130 yards.....at the end of the first quarter.

There's not much Boise can do about that.

Boise's best hope was for Georgia to win out, and for TCU to go undefeated.

Georgia is looking like they might end up back in the top 20, but not TCU, not considering the teams they've lost to.
