I can't believe LSU are #1 ! ! !

I see some college ball but not loads and the game the other night was a very good one but I can't believe a team with a QB as awful as LSU (They switched half way through I believe ? Or looked like they might) and an O that are so pathetic at moving the ball are #1.

I realise they both have good D's and that was part of the reason for the low score and I do like defenses but give me SOME type of QB that can at least get a first down.

Maybe LSU and Alabama are the best 2 but if the title game was Stanford and LSU then all Luck has to do is find a way to get 2 TD's and its GAME OVER because Lee and Jefferson look shocking.

Oregon has one loss -- LSU beat them 40-27. LSU has been killing everybody on their schedule.

What you saw Saturday night was the two greatest teams in the country (by far) squaring off. Alabama has the best defense by far -- LSU's struggles were because of that. They got the win.

It would be a really good matchup. I'm excited for a very good test for Luck. LSU has an NFL style D with elite DL and elite secondary play.It wont be an easy matchup or Luck.

Lol this is such a joke. Have you not been aware of the national craze and attention he is getting with the nickname the Honey Badger? He was considered a heisman candidate up until he was suspended two weeks ago against Auburn. Alabama has the #1 rated defense in the country in all categories except turnovers (which LSU owns). Show me 1 team in the country that hasn't had the same struggles against Alabama? Arkansas is a top level offense that only scored 14 on them. They were allowing I believe 6.1 ppg coming into the game and LSU squeeked out 9. They will blow everyone else out of the water the rest of the season.

they've been using both quarterbacks for 4 years, it's not that absurd in college football.

LSU this year could probably beat Auburn last year. LSU SMASHED Oregon, who has their whole team back, and they're much better than they were last year when they lost a close one to Auburn.

I am aware. I just don't see it. Whenever I watch him play QBs are avoiding Claiborne and thowing to Mathieu's side while Mathieu is chasing a receiver open by a yard or two. He is an excellent tackler. But coverage>tackling for corners.

This post is so damn ridiculous. Usually you're pretty spot on, but this is flat out wrong.

he barely plays past hook zones and flats in zone and when he plays man it's usually from the nickel, I watch EVERY LSU game and I haven't seen him being "burnt" all year.

Plus, he leads the nation in takeaways and defensive touchdowns, but hell, he's all "hype"
