Yeah caught me way off guard. He had a real real good thing going at Wisconsin. In a much easier to win conference.

But that's just the pull the SEC has right now. Way too much money to throw at coaches. I'm sure other conference schools could too they just don't.

In this world where the SEC is 1,000 times more attractive lucratively than Wisconsin. Don't forget Arkansas is only 1 year removed from being a top 5 team that won the Sugar Bowl. They were better than Wisconsin except this year.

Really not hard to believe at all considering Arkansas probably threw a big contract at him.

Yeah I'm hearing that too even though ESPN is late on reporting it. I'm a little dissapointed but not major.

Malzahn should get our offense back to a more competitive level. Hopefully brings us another college level qb because we didn't have any last year.

Was more hoping for Kirby Smart or Chris Peterson. Someone that can mend the defense. I saw a stat that Auburn's defense the last 4 years is the worst in school history. We have to fix that some time and stop always worrying about the offense.

Though I guess offense is what everyone is in love with these days in college football. That's why ND and Alabama are in the national title though and not all the offensive lovers. They remembered you still can't do it without a d.

Bielema has little left to prove at Madison. He gets out of the Big Ten before Ohio State comes off probation. Arkansas isn't an easy job as they are in SEC West. He probably likes the challenge; he's forty-two years old and will have gone to three Rose Bowls in a row. He's a good coach from the Hayden Fry coaching tree.

I'm not exactly heartbroken over Bielema leaving, and I know I'm not the only Badger fan who feels that way. Overachieve when the team isn't supposed to be any good, underachieve when the team is supposed to be one of the best in the country. There just never seemed to be any consistency with his coaching.

Hopefully Darrell Bevell is on their list of possible coaching candidates.

Explain how he underachieved this year when he lost half his online as high draft picks and lost a great QB.

Me thinks the expectations of you Badger fans was pretty unrealistic for this year.

This is what irks me about the NCAA and their rules. A student athlete wants to change schools and it's a big to do, but coaches come and go freely. If a student-athlete wants to go once, then go with no issue, if it becomes a trend then look into it.
