    personally, unless you have ties to a team i think its pretty pointless to "adopt" a team, as if you are a dedicated fan or something.

    nothing wrong with liking teams or players though IMO

    I like the Hurricanes because they were badass when Dempsey played for them. Plus i like their colors.

    Notre Dame because Irish.

    I dont think that is wrong. College is a lot different than the pro's...There are a a few teams I follow and root for, but I don't feel about any college team the way I feel about the Broncos. Maybe that would be different if I went to a school with a football powerhouse or one with a rich sports tradition...but my school plays in the RMAC and doesn't even have a football program

    Oregon is and always will be #1 for me, but I love the SEC and its rivalries. Do you think it would be wrong to 'adopt' a SEC team like LSU or Georgia to go for when the ducks aren't playing, considering Pac12 hardly ever play sec?
