  • Johnny Manziel

Now don't go off on me for saying this, but if johnny manziel were to enter the draft and the broncos were able to take him, would you want them to? I can understand the concerns of his character issues and other things, but one thing is obvious, the kid can play football. Looking down the road after peyton leaves, I don't think Osweiler is the solution at QB. I for one would love to see manziel in orange and blue.

I don't know much about him as a football layer (is he a good pocket passer, or someone that makes a lot of plays with his athleticism/legs...doesn't translate at all the same at the pro level?). In any case, QB is the one spot where I want a character guy to lead the team...

I have no position on Brock, because there is virtually no sample size to judge from. I need at least a year. I liked what I seen in preseason and the word has been good on his progress.

No, but I have a feeling the FO isnt sold on Osweiler either. I actually think Zac Dysert is a better choice over Osweiler.

Some team will fall in love with him and take him higher than that. Denver will be drafting 32nd anyway.

Dysert made really bad decisions on 3rd down most of the time (Osweiller wasnt much better) but the difference is he came alive in the 4th where Osweiller just consistently looked bad near the end of crucial games.

Neither are the answer as far as ive seen in college or pros

Johnny Football looks great and shows ever sign of what Ild like in a pro he does well in the pocket and on the run but he doesnt stay in the pocket enough. However hes immature and in a QB thats a problem especially if he comes out early, if players do not rally around him (and according to some reports some of his teammates are annoyed with his antics) it does not create good chemistry and could damage a lockerroom

If he ends up being another Marinovich noone would be shocked

The only 3 QBs I'd want are Teddy, Boyd, and Mariota. Also I think it's highly unlikely we take one. Oz is the heir, despite what fans think.

If the Broncos have a 4 TD lead at half time or not long after it is going to be very interesting to see how soon Oz comes in to the game this week. The sooner he comes in, the more likely they will be to let him sling a few around the field. I do think we will see a lot of Montee Ball in the second half though and if Hillman can't go I bet CJ Anderson will see some carries.

When Oz comes in, which this week is very likely, it will be to hand the ball off to burn clock. It will run two times, and throw a short pass on third and medium. The offense isnt tailored to Oz, so we are not seeing how good he truly is. Oz has a cannon, yet there is no need to use it with a 4 score lead. The public has yet to see what Brock can truly do, because we are a Manning offense. Not to mention the most important thing for a young QB is to get a rhythm going, which in the situations he plays is very hard to establish.

Yea I understand the character concern with him, but throughout the season he seems to have matured a lot, only from what we can see though. If any quarterback could be drafted this year I would love to Mariota the most, he runs a complex offense and in my opinion is the best college quarterback this year.

                      Johnny Manziel

Okay, since college football is almost over I feel that it is safe to talk about this. Realistically, if Manziel comes out in the draft this year where do you see him landing? This is something I've thought about a lot, because it interests me. I could easily see this kid becoming either the next Ryan Leaf, or the next Russel Wilson. He certainly has the talent to become a quarterback, the question is will he?

                          10-15 somewhere in there IMO

Well, I was wondering more like what team is going to draft him haha. Ironically I could see the Bears, Browns, or Vikings going after him.

Hmm perhaps houston would try to trade down keep him in Texas.
