You know what I'll agree with you that preseason polls are stupid. They had no idea how teams will be without watching them play.

But guess what as Florida dissipated my Auburn Tigers came from the 50's or 60's to play for the national title. We proved as well as anyone ever that preseason polls are stupid.

But you know how you prove the preseason polls are bias?

You beat us in a freaking national title game and in bowls man!!!

And for 7 years it hasn't been done. And we win 66% of our bowl games every year. Against other conferences.

We have beat every conference except the ACC and we even took out the top independant.

That my friend is why we are the top conference. We have earned that bias rating for preseason.

You don't like it. Stop it. Beat us on the field. Then you can claim it.

Until that happens everything you say is just noisy complaints.

the SEC has the best players every year as a whole, of course they should be the best conference. just another reason why NFL > college football IMO

To have a higher opinion of someone/something than is deserved.

In the last 10 years, Alabama has won 3 national titles, LSU has won 2, Florida has won 1, Auburn has won 1 and is about to play for a 2nd. The road to the championship runs through the SEC. The only way to change that is to consistently beat them. Given their success at recruiting, good luck with that.

To say the SEC is overrated is just plain laughable.

I agree with everything you said. I have arguments all the time with SEC fans down here that NFL>>>>college. Course they don't have many NFL teams in this region and Bama people aren't very passionate about Titans or Falcons.

Oh so do I. The reason I usually lay off your college posts is I know you are a big Nebraska fan. And I grew up a Buffs fan and still am. But I went to Auburn my freshman year. So the passion is thick in football.

But I have no room to discuss Nebraska with you with how embarrassing CU has become in the sport.

Oddly enough you seem a lot more rational about Nebraska than you are with the Chargers. And Nebraska is more above average the past 3 years than the Chargers. Probably just not where you want them to be.

well i don't really discuss chargers football outside of smack, i think i am a petty rational chargers fan as well when i am not constantly defending them in smack lol

but i am probably a little harder on the huskers too because i know we can do better than this. with the chargers, i don't expect anything but disappointment and it all comes down to their ownership, but that's for another topic all together.
