Maryland football started its season with a missing-man formation

Only 10 Maryland players trotted onto the field for the first series of Saturday’s season opener against Texas at FedEx Field. The spot for the right guard was left open as the Terrapins offense took formation. Then starting quarterback Kasim Hill simply waited for the play clock to expire.

Texas declined the penalty for delay of game.

It was a tribute to Jordan McNair, the Maryland redshirt freshman offensive lineman who died in June two weeks after suffering exertional heatstroke during a team workout, thrusting the school into upheaval.

Yeah that was great with the Maryland doing that and Texas declining the penalty.



My cyclones game got canceled only goodis iowa state is averaging 7 yards per offensive possession and holding teams to 0 on defense per possession. Granted the game only lasted just over 4 minutes before the delays and cancellation

We figured it out in 2015, and went through Alabama in the process. It could be done again.

Tough loss for my Huskies yesterday in overtime. But at least Fordham kicked some butt for their first win yesterday.

My 2 teams are playing better than the "experts" predicted. They theoretically have a chance to meet for the SEC title, and my #3 school could throw the whole thing in a tizzy if the refs allow them to have a chance against OSU

We figured it out in 2015, and went through Alabama in the process. It could be done again.

I would imagine the equation is much harder this time with Bama having a far superior qb to the one who lost in 2015 and now Nick Bosa quit the team.
