  • Yay!

Did anyone watch the game on ESPN last night? BSU and BYU? Oh yeah, that's right. We stomped them like I predicted. Gilligan and Nurse were on fire last night... Dinwiddie had a good game and so did Chris Carr. In fact, they all did (once again) We also took out their second string quarterback, now THAT was a hit.

Anyway. BYU USED to be a good football club. But no longer. It's all us now. That game oughta get us a little recognition. Just like after we beat Fresno State that first time....and we'll beat them again this year too.

Go! Go! Go Big Blue! Fight Fight BSU!

    BSU: 50. BYU: 12

I appreciate your enthusiasm, however , dont you have a Boise State message board you can go rah, rah on. If every college student or alumn starts rah rahing on here there won't be room for any real football talk.

    Just my opinion

Did you go to BYU? Or some other school we beat? San Jose?

What's the point of doing that on BSU's board? That won't get people to notice us. Come on now...

Nope sorry. got an education in a place where sports come SECOND, academia comes FIRST. No free rides, you want to play college sports its for enjoyment.

          Where was that at?

I don't think our sports comes first. Maybe when I was in high school. But I don't think in college. Who knows. some schools probably still have that philosophy. A majority of the major universities are the same, offering scholarships for their sports programs, but also in every other area so. I have a basic free ride but it isn't because I can play sports...far from it.

Anyway what school did you go to?

SAIT. Tech school up here. I get all of my info from the US media and that leads me to believe that in some instances people who should'nt be in a college classroom get there for free because they can run or jump. And then a lot of them don't appreciate the FREE education sports has granted them and don't complete their schooling. That rubs me.

              Whoa was that a rant

Well unfortunately there ARE people like that. The only reason they're in college is because they can throw a ball, make it in a basket or what have you. It's kind of sad really. But there are those who are actually good students and do care about the academic portion of why they're in school.
